Unity - Big Brother Ultimate [v0.4 Fix] [WhiteSilver]

1. Why pick Unity again, not Renpy?
2. The renders aren't high quality.
3. The UI resolution/quality isn't great, compared to what other remakes have done.
4. The new Asian chick model looks unnatural.
5. Blonde characters have dark eyebrows. How can you even miss that?
6. There still are no blankets, just as in the OG, characters sleep just without them. And Lisa just starts masturbating in the open. This would be a stretch even with a blanket.
7. The music is acceptable.
8. The character stats model is underwhelming, doesn't have RPG vibes.
9. Generally, not much to do, not much variety in terms of available actions and in terms of the renders that are presented for the repeatable actions.
10. The game has pre-rendered animations. Either use a live 3D environment in Unity, or use pre-renders in Renpy, or just don't use any animations at all. I'd rather have more static renders, or good animations for the intimate scenes, not these low quality animations that make the game appear more artificial and immersion breaking.
11. The only thing that saves it is the story/progression system. There's no asshole/creepy grooming stepdad. Though Max still has some of the creepy tendencies, groping Lisa. Kira is introduced earlier, which is great. The new characters at least have a certain role to play, aren't just placeholders. The spa plotline is rushed, doesn't fit the pacing of the main plotline, and of the photography plotline. The masturbation scenes still are scripted-only one time events, don't repeat. Due to the lack of a stats system, the characters don't have natural needs, habits, behavior. There's no horniness, hunger, toilet, hygiene stat system. No trust stat, no intimacy stat, no boundary stat, so it all comes to scripts and quests doing their thing.

Btw, to those guys looking for more sexy time with Ann and new characters: There are plenty of high quality MILF games and "fuck the whole town" games available, not many explorable games that focus on the "growing up together under the same roof" theme. That's why the same aged characters are on my wish list, and also that Ann isn't required for story progression, as in the OG. I think it's more exciting to maintain it a secret, have her punish you and the others for messing around. Just my take, based on how boring the otherwise repetitive and grinding progression can get.

The best rework I've seen so far.
There seems to be a lot of rose-colored glasses to the memory of the original.
The models are still beautiful and well proportioned. The new characters are fun. the jobs add to the game.

I don't think there will be a relationship with Ann this year.There will be no relationship with other girls until after several boring updates.As for the new movements, I don't expect there to be anything fun at all.

I mean everyone knows, this idea of a game had already a couple of re-brands but true fans never lose hope
I really like the fact that he is using a different engine, it gives the dev team a bigger pool of features and the quality difference could be massive.
There are some small, I wouldnt call those bugs, mistakes that were made, like I mentioned the mission system makes sometimes no sense. But overall, I really liked to start again. I just hope progress is not getting rushed but also not actions should never be repetitive.

Finally, we have a BB, with worse renders than the original from 7-years ago, less story, unrefined UI, and still in Unity, but at least it has some animations. It's probably too early to tell if this will end up abandoned too, but that's my expectation.

In a world of crappy BB remakes, this one is not at all bad, I''d rate the game play better than the original which was terribly laggy and obscure.

I'd really like to see a simple VN version with all the best path bits included, but BB doesn't really lend itself to that kinda play - BBU is about as close as I've found to a VN version.

Definitely looking forward to the next update.

This has potential for sure. We still don't really have an overall 'good' revival of Big Brother yet, but I really think this has the potential to be it. Visuals need some work, which were the original's strong point, but the writing is 100x better. It doesn't read like some Russian guy with basically zero understanding of English wrote it, and there seems to be effort put into developing relationships and scenes, especially with Lisa. Missing some features too, like ability to save mid-scene, but the foundation is strong. Animations are a plus, and I like the developing of things like stealth and persuasion to use on all the girls. Looking forward to more.

Yes it's the same story again but still this one offers something different. Hope this one will be finished.

Not going to give it one star straight away - it's not that terrible. But it is just a very shallow, barely mediocre clone.

The author claims it has less grind, which is true. But the whole build up and progression of the original game and some of the better rebuilds is totally gone. At the same time, locking progression solely behind a stat that can be bought is... boring?

Yes there are animations. However in general the images are of quite low quality, they seem lower resolution, or sharpness is gone. As for the animations themselves... it's either a camera revolving around a plastic doll (the postures are awkward, the faces lifeless) or variations of some awkward moving doll. They're not even close to looking or moving natural.

All in all, it's a first attempt. If the author shows it's more than a cashgrab, can add some serious polish and actual gameplay it might evolve into something decent. For now, not so much. I'd avoid it.

Edit: to clarify I did not finish it, after about 30 minutes of mindless clicking it just got boring, with the low quality visuals not compensating the lack of actual impact or things to achieve in game.

Update 22-10-2025, v0.4:
The game has expanded quite a bit, but it just feels more grindy than needed. The quality of some animations is quite good, but the bulk are still lackluster. The story barely passes Meh as everyone seems to allow MC anything without much thought. 2 stars still stands. It's just not a good game.

A good start. It seems that much of the original content is here, and it already has some new material. The animations are of a good level, I will be rooting for this developer to continue with the game and not abandon it like many others have done.

Keep going, looking good so far. Like that its not grindy and the stealth and persuasion options are good. Like the animations. Hope to see many more developments in future updates. Other versions of this never finish. all the best. cheers

So far its just another quick cash grab. Everything is copy pasted (even the dev name "White Silver" is copied from the OG dev "Dark Silver"). Maybe just the one lisa animation is selfmade.
