We call that one the "Gallery Slop"
TF is a gallery slop? A game that is extremely poorly made, with zero care for ANYTHING, the creator just made it for the sake of making a interactable gallery (that aren't even that good)
so most people who gonna consume won't even play the damn game, they just gonna download a 100% file and gallery anyways .
Gameplay: i-i don't evne know how to start this one? it was one of the boring experience i ever played, i spent the entire game doing ZZZzzzZZZzzz... because not only i slept on my keyboard, but that's the only button that matter the entire game.
the enemies hitboxes are awful, you clearly phases you sword and bullets through them, making not only your grab attack that should guarantee a i-frame and a stun, but also your bullet impossible to hit, forcing you to use the basic attack the entire game since it's the biggest hitbox through it.
ALL ENEMIES ARE LITERALLY THE SAME THING, they don't have special variants or whatever, all of them walk toward syou, roll a coinflip whether it gonna grab or low damagfe you, literally their whole AI are wander around randomly, after few seconds sprint towards player, if no attack was hit or was cancelled, repeat it. (there are moments enemies jst... forget about you and go off-screen for a breakfast or whatever)
so your entire gameplay loop are ZZZZZZZZ, shift shift shift shift, ZZZZZZZ shift shift shift shift ZZZZZZZZZZZ, except the sewers, where this time are... ZZZZZ SHIFT SHIFT SHIFT SHIFT, a little of arrow up, ZZZZZZ.
this happens because you have a special skill that should sweep the whole wave but the hitbox are ass, and your secondary skill 'X' is a grab, where you guarantee a stun... on one enemy, of billions on the wave.
The level designs doesn't exist, they are all reskinned first level, they ahve 4 waves, 2 of the normal monsters, then the third wave have the same mosnters, except 2 mini bosses, and the last one have a boss, which fun fact or not, every single level as far i remember also shares the same placements of items on the same places FFS, the second wave always have a medkit, and the last wave always have ammo box and medkit. the third e first wave always have that purple epic soda of the epics that are actually completely useless because your C take millenia to charge and enemies cancel it mixed with the fact that the only thing that really changes besides visuals on each level, are that enemies receives more HP, so while you feel satisfied wiping a well connected special ability, they become useless on later on.)
nothing else changes, these waves take like 2-3 minutes to finish each, you waste so much time literally doing nothing but pressing SHIFT and Z for 2-3 minutes until the next wwave comes.
Graphics (and animations): Ehh? it's not bad actually,, could be a lot worse, but graphics don't save the game, i am not joking... that game probably use free royalty assets on many parts, if you haven't noticed... the background of the freeway area are LITERALLY A RANDOM PIXEL ART OF A STARRY NIGHT M E D I E V A L C A S T L E
i personally don't... goon for games anyways, so i had to put a yellow light for the animations because i don't have standards for that, it's nothing i would be impressed? but it's not BAD as people say either. (Edit: Nvm what i just said, the animations ARE bad, i didn't bothered to open the gallery after finishing, i never saw the game's animations, just the 1 CG one. you may be asking me "HOW TF you passed the entire game without having sex?... simple, the enemies grabs are simple as mashing arrow to escape, and there are nothing else than that, no hard key mash or whateve, they all share the same rate, from the normal ones to the bosses.)
now something that really BOTHERED the hell out of me, are the VISUAL INCONSISTENCIES of that game... how tf they decide the assets placement?
the second level, the Subway have random women popping eggs out of their vagina, okay... there is no... INSECTS? or beasts at all
then the freeway have these blobs tentacles sprouting of raw concrete... on the middle of a sandy (?) environment, just so the boss of a big vast open area be... dogs? flies and a spider...
RIGHT AFTER IT, You have SEWERS,these women this time are literally losing for free because they don't have anything stopping them from escaping, they are just... laying? around, with toys and nothing else. THE ENEMIES? Otachi-looking ass monsters and with some bipedal long dudes and suddenly a weird formless monster, ALL RED ON A BLUE LEVEL with comicallylogn arms.
this shows A LOT the creator didn't cared for gameplay, not even for the DAMN GAME MAPS AT ALL, tehy just... "Yeah animations are fine, now put a game facade instead of just releasing that as collection of videos"
