Ren'Py - Abandoned - Bitch Breaker [v0.21] [UnknownError]

Art grows on you, turning her submissive is very hot not sure why but it really is. Kinda sucks it was abandoned(but apparently dev is ok so not truly abandoned and hope hes doing well) but i think its still worth playing as is. game is also moderately funny, but humor is subjective so it could be cringe to some.

I've never really liked slave trainers to begin with, so I didn't expect much from this game when I downloaded it. Boy, I was in for a surprise.

Firstly, this game has decent writing and funny jokes. Of course, it's not a unique case for slave trainers (WT Silver is another example), so let's move on.
Secondly, the bitch turned out to be hotter than she looked like on previews. What can be better than some domination over a bitchy muscular MILF, especially with the bruises that left on her face and tits after you disciplined her a bit? And her face and expressions in close-up scenes are insanely cute, much cuter than you might expect from the full-height standing model that you deal with during most of the game.
Finally, this game has less grind than many other slave trainer games, but at the beginning it may seem that you barely make any progress because her stats reset overnight. My fellow perverts, this is completely fine, just keep on playing.

There is only one downside to this game that I can think of: the amount of content is not impressive at all, and with current development pace we'll have to wait for a couple of years to get a decent amount of content that would be comparable to some of the content-heavy all-time classic slave trainer games out there.

Very good pacing, funny writing, getting all the right 80's jokes and unique art style.

Just one thing I really don't like: Ms. Pennyworth looks like a bodybuilder in the sex scenes. She looks hot as a bitchy milf in the sprites presented, but when it gets to the actual scenes, she looks like a gorilla on steroids - might change that in the future to better represent her milfy sprite look.

Games really good and has alot of potential. Wasn't too keen on the artwork when I orginally played this when it had the abandoned title, but learned to love it after playing for a while. I played this game before the Dev's "long sleep" but luckily wasn't waiting as long as others had been for the next update if there was one. UnknownError's come back bigger and better and has a whole new perspective on the game and has hopefully come back renewed and will continue this.

Love the customisation options, love the different dialogs, love the style, love the gameplay/stats/moods and love the tags

a unique game in this sea of copy&paste VNs, full of charm and personality. well worth your time if you're into domination. the art might be rudimentary, but it does just enough to create an impression. your mind fills in the rest.

One of my top ten.

-The artwork might not be for everyone, but it's honestly part of the charm, giving it the feeling it's the bastard child of an Akabur game and Hotline Miami.

-Music is serviceable, but it keeps the tone.

-The humour isn't for everyone, nor is even the sexual content, but if you go in with the mindset you really could get away with some wild shit in the 80s, it's great.

Highly recommend playing it if you ever enjoyed the golden age of 'Trainer' style games. This isn't one to be missed - Please continue to bully the dev to keep working, (and I dunno, throw him a couple shekels as well to keep the lights on) .

Incredible game so far, the only con is the art, but it quickly grows on you.

Greatest game of all time.

• Funny and smart dialog. A breath of fresh air from the poorly written, dramatized fluff that's attached to botched 3D models and gets called a "virtual novel".
• The animated scenes are top notch. I assume these were recently added.
• Bitch is customizable.
• Good amount of content (currently v0.2).
• Not much grinding.
• Anti cuck and anti ntr.

• The way to progress with a character is sometimes hard to know.

Frankly an amazing piece of work which I'm very happy to learn isn't dead. Despite being version 0.2 there's loads of content, and it's just a really good game. I'm very much looking forward to seeing what's going to be coming in the future with hopefully more regular updates. Try it and see for yourself!

I absolutely love the art, it is very unique but not bad, it isn't hyperrealistic but still fits well in the style of the game and the personality of the characters.

An absolute 11/10 in my opinion, I can't wait for more content.

A diamond in the rough, and better for it as it is fairly unique among this site despite the obvious inspirations of so many trainer games. The rough art style and 80's soaked themes of the game create a surreal "Hotline Miami" feel, but with pure sexual degeneracy rather than hyper-violence. Off-hand jokes and dry wit on top of the erotica ensures the game is never boring while content remains.

Of course, like all such games, development is slow.
There are also a few small, but noticeable bugs here and there usually related around minor missing art assets.

It does all the criteria for a training game but it does get annoying trying to keep track of the bitch stats. I think it be eaasier if there is a way to indicate that we have the most stats for arousal or dominating.

Writings good and funnyish but its really let down by god awful drawings, the BJ/hand jobs scenes look like its some completely other character whose been on a diet of cakes.

Its kind of racist too with the dope smoking postman and soul security guard.

But my main gripe is the game play just seems to be rinse and repeat and hope something new happens, so its a major grind fest. I also don't think there are any flags to say when you've got to the end of the current current.

Side splittingly funny if you are in on the joke, very irreverent. It's the 80's and everything is cranked up to 11. The intro is one of the funniest pieces of black humor and social commentary you'll see in a slave trainer game within our lifetime. It's good to see him back at work at it.

The art style is interesting to say the least. The game isn't selling itself on art, at least not the sex scenes or antagonist. First playing it years ago it was offputting but you quickly get used to it. The corruption mechanics are what you're playing for.
Music design though is excellent. One of the things that makes the game. Each scene or transition is usually set to a musical score that matches it perfectly.

Corruption mechanics: toptier. 4 bar monitoring system you have to balance through clever choices, honing your skills, working, and a gift system. The statchecks of these play into the dialogue options in the CGs and which CGs will show up, along with (i suspect) a counter of how many times you've done an action .
One thing interesting and excellently designed is that actions have weight. they cause stress and anger you need to manage, making your behavior strategic instead of just slamming next until a button shows up.
*caveat; that decay rate on her stats needs to be set to like 1/3 (or 1/6) or less. You do have to constantly tend the girl every turn and it's "unrealistic" for a girl to one day be calling herself a bitch and sucking dick then the next is back to square one. Maybe solve it by having more events like the racing-weight lifting thing that raise minimum cap. Or just slow down decay and gain to make strength/soul even more important to the system.

Under the hood:
This is one of the cleanest outlined renpy games I've seen poking around the code. Should be very easy to add new content, rooms, and events with the way he has the game designed. Thats where the effort went.

Scenes and dialogue:
Radiant dialogue is unique at different levels of 4 bar girl corruption which is an excellent design. When you start yoyoing (or maybe I just minmaxed) wildly between turns from decay it gets a smidge repetitive since you'll see the same line a few times. He's aware of it (he'll tell you in game. )
Scenes are well framed, paced believably (by porn game standards) as you break down your bitch boss strawman.

Side characters:
Real jewel of this game. Everyone is a stereotype cranked to 11. The banter and side dialogue from your "training" are some of the funniest stuff you'll see in a porn game.

what does it play into the greater story? Nothing. What does it play into that npc's characterization? Everything.

The writing is desperately trying to convince you it is funny, but it isn't. The protagonist is boring as hell, just an archetypal mistreated nerd out for revenge. The gameplay is fine if you can get through it without your brain dribbling out of your ears.
The Bitch in question is disappointingly one dimensional too, just your standard male ego shattering boss woman, which would be fine if she was written half decently. Which she is not, because as noted the writing is just fucking awful.

I don't like leaving negative reviews, I wanted to like this, I enjoy a decent trainer game. But this ain't it.

Pros:
Dialog is perfect with the mixture of comedy and dialog of the protagonist and antagonist.
The side characters can make you just break into laughing along with the situations the character gets into and the allowed responses you can make.
The interaction and functions of the game are really good and seem to be going in a good direction.

Con:
Art is lacking (but is still covered by the dialog)
Small bugs but the game is still starting

There are thousands of beautifully drawn erotic games on just F95 zone alone. Why the fuck would I rate a game that artistically looks like garbage, 5 stars? Because if you put a gun to my head, and told me to name 10 of them that are overall better than this game, someone is going to collect life insurance on me.
Bitchbreaker is a game written by UnknownError, a man that proves minimaxing can work RL. With 100 speech, and 0 illusion, he makes both the best game, and the worst game to enjoy. The writing is hands down in the top 3 of corruption/trainer games. I generally laugh at his jokes, he sets up gags fantastically, and with minimal ease he lets us know the personality of his characters through interaction, with only the "Bitch" actually being defined by others.
12/10 writing.
The game has a few bugs, it is a very well done renpy script, and he hasn't added fuckery to make me feel like I am clicking the same 10 buttons 100 times, until I reach the end of the current content. With interesting takes on layout, I would say it's almost seemless.
Design 8/10.
The art style is both the best and worse part of this game. I know it looks bad, you know it looks bad (if you can't tell, go to the optometrist) but functionally, I am actually ok with this. Some of the best games rarely focus on the art, and the art here is just the function to the layout of what the general mood is in game between characters. There are tons of completely forgettable games full of eye candy, and while I would say its the worst part, it also seems to be the part that takes the least amount of time to create, thus not getting in the way of the game being created.
Art 4/10.
The sum does not lead to the whole, and I can say with honesty, that Bitchbreaker while having below average art, is itself one of the best, and most memorable games I have ever played. Download it, play it, stress UnknownError out enough he abandons the game for another 2 years, and autistically hunt down any information of when he might feel sane enough to continue this masterpiece. 11/10 - I consider it on par with WT and PT Gold.

Great idea, funny development, nice interaction, it feels like an Akabur game except for the art-style. The 80s feeling is also a plus on the game. It´s a pity this game is abandoned, with another artist it could have great potential.

I know the 80s and I understand many of the jabs and jokes in there. Even hints in the art point to 1980s excess.
Pros: Sharp writing, funny dialogue. It's a good read.
Cons: It looks like an older kid with a twisted sense of humor drew this and it's kinda jarring sometimes. It's off-putting to me.
I wonder if that's the intended effect?
