i hate this era of epic length dead zones between updates, be it on pirated porn games, tv shows, or movie sequels.

Misplaced good take. By that I mean, movie and tv shows are due to a parade of reasons like poor prioritization of story writing and funds, lack of knowledge on their own shows popularity because streaming makes it harder to rate viewership, and general greed and hubris. While the gap in porn games is simply a lack of man power. When something relies on a single person, it obviously is tethered to that person's drive, availability, and ability. So, as you can probably tell, I don't disagree that prolonged wait times for media entertainment is a problem... but when it comes to porn games it's different. They're not creating these gaps due to narcissistic reasons (usually), it's just a lack of man power, so if the creater needs to step back there's no one to fill in.
