    This was interesting.

The dark and fuzzy renders add to the atmosphere and the horror feel of the VN. They're not 1:1 with the text, and they tell their own story somewhat like anon points out, and though it's different, I like it. The story itself drew me in and I appreciated the visuals which served as a complement.

One unique result of this set up is that one could feel two feelings at the same time as two different stimuli are being presented; suspense from the story and teasingly unclear, dark, lewd imagery.

The one qualm I have is that I think white noise may have served better than silence, though I could understand the decision for silence. Good stuff and I like forward to more and future stuff, including what was previewed at the end.

What a surprise. Unfortunately not a good one
If I would be fair for the rating system it actually is a 1 star

    Why? Because you get:
    - nothing to see because the renders are way to dark
    - the writing is maybe interesting - when it actually would match to the renders. WTF?
    - short as hell, even for a demo
    - without sound (horror without sound/music is missing a big part)
    - without animation (well, I couldn't see one in the dark, maybe there was?)

Not in the rating, but also for me a no go: suddenly a futa in the game??

Well, I'll give an extra point for the trying of something new, even it failed "horrible"

Review for the game version 1.0

    Version: 1.01

Phenomenal horror meets erotica. Not anything any porn game-focused players may appreciate.

    • short story
    • unorthodox storytelling: there are two stories being told at once the one you read; in the past, and the one you see; slightly in future
      • one may be confused following but that's okay because it's more important you immerse yourself in the story
    • unorthodox visuals: both lighting and editing
      • the low light and editing play a metaphysical role in the storytelling as they both reflect one's own experience in such a scenario—how your eyes adjust in the darkness
      • the rendering is high quality and enhanced because of low lighting
    • low sexual content: there are some very hot visuals but very little at the same time
    • true supernatural femdom
    • no sound which would have helped in the suspense, even just a room tone bg

Horror boner succeeded. Supernatural phenomena x rape, delicious work. But wish it was longer and really got into the rape instead of just end it on a narrative note.
And the non-jumpscare disclaimer is greatly appreciated.

Story is nonsense and ends abruptly with major ludonarrative dissonance. Like another reviewer mentioned the text has nothing to do with the CGs on-screen,

I had assumed that it was working toward something that would meet in the middle to conjoin this horny grindr user incels story with whatever visual storytelling was happening in the CGs, but alas! When I thought it might actually be catching up to the present it abruptly ends.

No, you can't see much at all and no it doesn't do anything exceptional by making it very difficult to make out what's happening on the screen.
Yes, there is a lack of actual content you came here for. (3 blurry pictures in the dark! wow!)

I wish I had read the 2 star review before downloading this and am writing this review with the hope of preventing someone else from wasting their limited time on earth playing this game.

The renders (which are wayyyyyy too dark) feel so disconnected from the dialogue even in a metaphorical way that this feels like it falls flat on its face.

Creepy renders + unrelated creepy story? Okay? Why? It just made whatever store was there less interesting because rather than be drawn in I'm taken out of it trying to imagine how the fuck the renders are related to what is being said. Definitely doesn't have the lovercraftian feel that I think it is trying to accomplish.

Maybe this would be OK as a creepy-pasta but as a kinetic novel it was straight to the recycle bin.

    Scorn.

I am a huge horror fan so I had to check the game as soon as I saw it.
The writting is great, descriptive and rich without being pretentious and over the top.

As some of the people have already mentioned, yes, the images are a bit too dark, which personally I didn't find too bad, however, when mixed with the grain filter, there were a few moments where things were difficult too see. But from the preview at the end, I can tell that those issues are already worked on. The font size should also be increased.

Overall, really good release that needs a few technical touch ups.
