I wanted to like this game, judging by the art and overall effort put into the the pictures of the OP, but, man. The dev of this really, really, REALLY wanted to write a VN, but decided to throw a "game" in there for good measure.
I'm about 2 hours into it, and 90% of the time has been fast-forwarding through meandering dialogue that goes nowhere, circles around in on itself to repeat what's already established (main girl loves main guy, main guy is shy and stereotypical NTR bait; his male friend is rude and a polar opposite of said NTR bait protag), and then meanders some more with nothing that expands upon the characters or makes you go "Wow, that's really interesting! That's an endearing or cool part of this character's personality that I didn't know about before!"
It's clear that a lot of passion went into the art of this game, as it is *very* good and aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but most of everything else leaves much to be desired. It doesn't have the worst in presentation of its generic H-RPG world (why is there forced conscription for all boys aged 12 while women are allowed to go off and be idols? Is there anything interesting about the MC's main career in said military other than he's powerful than most cannon fodder? Is there anything about this world that would make me care about it? Lol, lmao even), but every problem is compounded when you look at the whole. The first vender you see is just some guy standing beside your house with no general wares around him, a cart, a stand, or anything to signify that he has goods other than "He looks merchant-y"; the gameplay is so generic, that being a bog-standard procgen game for trash mobs and a more generic "four dudes in a row" type of RPG system for boss fights (why have both if neither is good? Instead of half-assing two combat systems, full-ass one so that it gets the player's attention and makes them want to actually, y'know, play the game for the gameplay); and some other stuff I'm probably forgetting.
I gave this game a solid try, but it feels like, to me, this is a "search the thread for a gallery save" type of game rather than a "Oh boy, I want to PLAY this GAME for multiple hours because it's fun and the mechanics are satisfying; everything ties into one thematic whole that delivers an experience that I'll remember for years to come!"
