Dev Diary #15
“ Hey everyone,
As promised, I wanted to give you all an update before I head out on a work trip.
I've been pushing hard to see how much I could accomplish before leaving, and while I've made significant progress, I haven't quite gotten everything over the finish line. If you've been following the tracker, you'll know there was still a fair amount of work to be done - not just on the CG front, but also in writing, coding, and misc things like gallery. 2 key scenes still need a fair amount of work for me to be happy.
For reference, everything that happens after the outfit room scene has been massively affected. It's essentially writing a new chapter while preserving key story elements, but making them flow better and feel more cohesive with the dual-path system. The result is better, but it is taking time.
As a gesture of goodwill - and do note this will be the first week I'm not putting in any hours on the project - I've decided to pause Patreon subscriptions until the release is ready. I truly appreciate your support and it's my way of acknowledging your continued patience and support during uncertain deadlines and unpredictable development.
While the art has been a significant focus over the past few months I've also been making important changes to the game's flow, the two-path system, and how the later sections develop. These elements are equally, if not more, important than the art updates, and they take time to get right.
I started this project because I wanted to create something I would enjoy playing and thought was good. That's still the main goal. Yes, it's taking longer than expected, and believe me, I feel the pressure. But rushing just doesn't make sense to me.
Thank you so much for your continued support and understanding. I can't wait to finally release it and get some much-needed feedback.”
