Job Description:
Artist 2D
Create stylized medieval-themed sprite art and tilesets for our ASCII/pixel. Responsibilities include character sprites, item icons, UI elements, and environmental tiles but may vary depending on your range of activities. Experience with retro/low-res art styles preferred along with a willingness to familiarize yourself with internal tools for the full development cycle. Portfolio required.
Composer
Compose atmospheric ambient tracks and dynamic music for a dark medieval setting. Deliverables may include exploration themes, combat stingers, ambient environmental loops, and menu music. Experience with adaptive/layered music systems a plus.
Programmer
C# developer to maintain and scale existing game systems using .NET 10, Arch ECS. Knowledge of ECS architecture and roguelike mechanics is a big plus. Detailed project documentation is available before starting work (includes top-level documentation of any solution, architecture, and detailed documentation implemented in the code base for convenient operation).
Play Tester
Test game builds systematically, document bugs with reproduction steps, and provide gameplay feedback. Will use debug tools to stress-test all game systems (combat, inventory, dialogue, quests, crafting, etc.). Detail-oriented candidates with roguelike experience preferred.

Blut und Bann is a medieval survival featuring deep systems including branching NPC dialogues, multi-objective quests, container-based inventory, turn-based tactical combat, and dynamic world simulation. We're building toward alpha with placeholder content for tester verification. Please include relevant portfolio/samples when applying.
