May I ask how much RAM you have?
I got this issue only once and it was when I was running a bunch of stuff and I think the RAM got over taxed.
You can find this by right clicking on the start menu button and choosing System
No but you can cheat via means of save game editing (look at above comments) or Memory Editing (such as Cheat Engine)

had 50 of all transformatives (saveedit is friend) but abi just said that something was missing with the research and wondered if there was another path, could get the hair things from himari but the body was no-go
guess I'll just have to put in more hours unlocking every single ending -.-

I'm assuming they just opened and edited their save file with a text editor.

I'm using saveeditonline.com, grabbing the save file from C/user/appdata/LocalLow/Rel_Pink/BMO-TV/
Drag and drop the save file (.json) into the editor, whabam, you can now play around a bit.
Scroll through and change the values you want or Ctrl+F and search for what you want such as "agility" if you want easier to avoid being transformed change the value to 90. You can also trigger certain paths like the cow or cat path by setting them from false to true. When you're done just click the "download x.json" and copy paste it into the save folder, I usually have to load it twice in-game for it to work but otherwise works like a charm

Do you play war games and wish there was a way to disable people shooting at you? I get wanting to disable certain features (I personally wish there was a way to disable complete sex change) but the way you disable Himari trying to turn you Japanese is already built into the game with a simple, one-and-done, interaction.

- After she brings up the stamp
- Wait for her to be in the hobby room
- Go the hobby room then look in the cabinet on the right side of the room (middle cabinet door) and grab the stamp and show it to her.
- You can either ask for a blowjob (if available) if you want, as long as you give her the stamp in the end. (Asking for a bj and not giving it will start another ending.
- She will be your ally then and not try to bring you to a bad ending.
Yeah the stamp makes her your ally, speaking of Himari, I've asked this before, but I don't think anyone responded. I remember on an old version getting an ending where she somehow magically traps you in her manga, you live out the story of a feminized brother dealing with his little sister using a wishing maguffin to turn him into a bimbo older (then younger) sister, and eventually get trapped in the book itself. (iirc) The last scene was you peeking through a hole in the wall of the locker room to spy on her gangbang I think. (also it might not have been actual magic, just hallucinations, but w/e)
Does anyone else remember this? Or know how to trigger it? No idea why something so magical was in this game, but I liked it tbh, dev could totally do more wild stuff like that.
I have a few gripes with the game, but overall the only reason I don't sub to the patreon is because there's no sex, unless it's been added since I played like a year ago. The buildup of each ending can be really good and well done, but then there's no, well, climax. Arguably the story "climax" is the 'a few months later' scene of what your life has become, and that's a good narrative climax, but outside of "cursed to edge for life" edge cases, porn games just need a real climax to finish to, in my humble opinion.
Perfect example is the first Himari ending, if you end up as her replacement, the game basically says outright that you'll end up in a brothel once you get too old, but then fades to black. It's a total waste of all that buildup, when it would only take one more scene of a night in that brothel to cap off that story with the perfect narrative and sexual climax.
I know the dev doesn't want to add sex, but if you ever read this, please consider adding it as a toggelable option maybe, I can't speak for anyone else, but I'd sub to the patreon, and I bet a lot of other people would too.

Ah that's new, well at least there's that, but personally if that's all there is it doesn't really count for me. I like playing as a female, and having sex as one, and the guy that joins the house at some point is a great way to have sex as a female, it's really easy to bang him multiple times a day, but it hardly amounts to anything. The real goodness (imo) would be sex scenes related to the endings, during the endings, and during the struggle leading up to the endings. Quickies aren't it, I really hope the dev isn't adding in quickies to try and satisfy the people asking for sex scenes, we want actual sex to be intertwined with the story, plot, endings, character relationships etc. There's so much great potential that just ends with a whimper every time.
