Interesting game (in a good way), VN in any engine other than ren'py feels a bit off ngl i miss the ctrl button skipping text i might not care about(like the footjob on the table, who cares about that lmao let me flip cams)
For the limited night we can play, it sort of counts as a fnaf-clone because it fills the checkboxes(camera, doors, closing said doors) but the door holding mechanic have potential to slightly move away from the fnaf 1 loop. idk if there is directional audio, but the sound doesnt play for the first time bonbon attacks for the second attack i "accidentally" let go of the door and gets a pretty good jumpscare.
I dont really have that much feedback since the meat of the game is the VN part, which im not a good writing/art critic, but the night mode has some things to add/fix.
The most glaring issue is the door, the area detection box is a too small since it only covers the visible part of the door. It also doesnt extend when the door is closed, so it might be great to just extend the click area to the whole door sprite to make it more "gamey" and easy to interact with, might be important for a more sweatfest 6th and 7th night later down the line.
Not sure how the movement opportunity mechanic work, but sometimes bonbon just disappears and reappears on the same exact spot, idk if thats a buggy sprite, an RNG blessing(picks the same room or proc the move opportunity twice) or an actual mechanic but i think the fuzzy VHS effect should be more prominent if someone procs their movement opportunity.
Overall its a solid start to a good game! even though i still prefer H-scene on lose or atleast tied to the night gameplay, this semi-VN style could result in a pretty interesting "fnaf-clone"
also, isnt it weird to have ver 1.35 when the game is not fully developed yet?
