VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Born to Breed [v1.0.1] [RFH Games]

This game is pretty good, but fails to be great simply from its short length and rushed ending. It is kinetic so there are no choices to be had, just a straight forward plot. That is fine, but sadly it ends up leaving you wanting more.

The art is appealing, with attractive fantasy race characters, and what animation there is is serviceable. Each sex scene does not have more than 1 or 2 images, which is a bit disappointing. However the events of them are still fun and hot.

The characters are all fun, and have good interactions with one another. The main character is very forward with her intentions, and is never too serious, which makes her enjoyable to watch. Everyone, including the narrator, is voiced which is very nice and enhances the experience.

Unfortunately, the problem with this game is that in the back half, the MC becomes quite passive and is just sort of existing while the other characters do things. She is fun to watch in dialogues, but then she just ceases to be around. She also no longer has sex with any of the other characters, while they have sex with one another. Which is odd considering a later revelation. You would think the MC would at least get to do something with each one of them, but sadly that is not the case. Then the story just comes to an end. A big plot important event happens, MC has a conversation with one character, a big plot reveal is made(that the player probably already realized early on), then finally epilogue text talks about everything that happened afterwards... And that was it. Everything described in the epilogue text feels like it could have been in the game, but instead its just text with no images.

Even with solid art, voice acting, and decent animation, ultimately the game's rushed ending and sidelining of the main character leaves you feeling a bit disappointed as you are left wanting more.

Really nice art style, though there is some rather wonky anatomy (and I'm not just talking about the protag's pendulous sack). Linear story with 'ok' writing considering the content and brevity. Voice acting is excellent.
Biggest issue is the 'breeding' is limited to the implications and there's little to actually see. If you're looking for bouncing big bellies, you'll be disappointed.
Not a terrible game, but it has some issues and personally lacked what I was looking for.

The story is overloaded with useless emotions and text.

Otherwise, there are 1 or 2 scenes, that may give you a nice fap.

Sadly, the length of the game is barely an hour, and ends rather poorly. As if the story was meant to progress, but was cut short so as not to go into "Abandoned".

Overall? Not worth your time/10.

- 7 (wish it was more) well-animated sex scenes that have good buildup and of course have some significance to the character development we see
- [Not-major spoiler warning] Regardless of the impact of the voice acting (which, props to the person or people involved in it), the reactions to things like having to clean a massive mess or being overwhelmed by a busy diner are pretty accurate
- The lore of the world is fleshed out. It's not to an extreme extent but enough to satisfy someone who would like to know what's going on without having to dig too deep
- Using 'hermaphrodite' instead of 'futanari'; not the biggest deal but still a plus

Critiques
[Major spoiler warning] As of now, I can only think of one and it's not even major for the purposes of the gameplay experience: I really want to get to know the characters besides Sophie and Vail a lot more. Race-wise, we get summaries of how they came into existence, their significance to the main conflict of the story and individual roles, their features and their relationships. Individually, we also get to know and see how the permalust has affected each of the main characters, but I would personally like to get an idea of their origins, their values, their upbringings, overall an understanding of their lives before we see them in-game. I'm thinking that some kind of character guide could do this but that'd be enough.

A pretty good game, the only negetive is that there isn't much content but of the little content there is, all is well made.
The ending is pretty cute with some moral, it's all voiced beautifully and the animations aren't bad at all, the art itself is pretty nice.
Not many games that actually makes distinct demi-humans, normally a goblin is just a small human with green skin or a horse girl is a human with horse ears/tail. There's something here.
Again, I would've loved more. Maybe a game centered around this worlds universe or something.
Nevertheless, play the game it's very short but enjoyable.

Bit torn on this one. What's there is well done, but there isn't all that much. Maybe 6 or so sex scenes from a single angle with average animation quality, half of them not involving the MC. The rest of the 1-2 hours of playtime is fully voiced dialogue, which is quite well done. No complaints about the writing. The story, while nothing to write home about, is engaging enough. At least until the second half, when they start using a lot of time skips to rush to a conclusion. Overall a little disappointing because of that.

I did not see the story being that good. The graphics are great and help bring the story together. Really thought it was just going to be the same porn AI stuff and the story turned out to very thought out. The themes flow together and the story really build to the ending.

Fantastics game, like the devs other games. Not much to say its a kinetic novel so just story and sex.

Art is amazing.

The story is decent, imaginative and horny.

The sex is great but small dev team and short development time results in sex scene just being a short animation from 1 angle and sometimes the angle isnt event good (that goblin scene could have been so much better from a different perspective). Some of the dialog paints such a picture but i what to see that drawn but again small team.

Also there VO and its really good no notes.

One final note, a porn game not ending on a sex scene is a massive disappointment. this game could have ended on an orgy, which would suit the art style and narrative perfectly. also lost a full point because of that.

Reviewing the "Free Demo" version:
So far the game is a simple straight forward VN without any choices.
The art is decent. Animations are good enough as well.
What really stands out are the narration and the voice acting. This is basically the best part about the game as it shown in the demo so far.
If the whole game will be made this way, I think it's fair to give it 5 stars for the unique experience.

Good game with good visuals, the characters arent just AI images glued to the background morphing depending on the situation you could see the care the artist put on making them, and its the only few games where its voiced both characters and narrator which is good in my books makes me want to read and hear the dialogue instead of skiping it, hope in the future we have more tags and more kinks to explore, deserved 5 stars.
