The game is a cool proof of concept. Sex doesn't work, combat isn't actually implemented (the concept of combat exists at all), and there doesn't really seem to be a point to do anything yet.

You can earn a bunch of money, level up stats and skills, and raise/lower relationships with named npcs, but that seems to be the beginning and ending of the game unless there were large chunks of content that I missed.

It would be more accurate to call this a pre-alpha build and as a pre-alpha build it's well fleshed out. The UI is very nice, if not a bit too busy with how much information is everywhere. The menu nesting is done well, but some information is really hidden from you. For example, the game constantly tells you that you have stress building up, but it'll take some clicking around and opening nested menus to figure out where to even see your stress levels.

I don't know why but there were a million achievements setup for the game already. I might read through that menu just to see what's planned for the game, but the ones at the top were things like 'Meet 5 named npcs' so I'm in no rush.

Okay now that the grey screen bug has been fixed seemingly it seems to be decent,

A bit lackluster in exact tutorial, mainly cause it could do with a map ofc, but all in all, yeah its an alpha test,

Seems to at least function decently,
for the map even if it was just a placeholder map of "this is a path", you could even use ms paint for making the placeholder.

Doesnt need anything fancy this early on, and yeah super grindy for stuff, there's no option for selecting an actual backstory of the host's history which would affect starting stats,

Like no peasant would have only 1 in all stats by the time they reach the age stated, especially when they work on a farm, endurance should be at least level 2 at the start, since farmers need to work long hours all day, not exactly strength building (though you can argue that if you want to), but definitely extremely persistent and used to long repetitive labor. and starting beauty could be randomized (between level 1-3 since people can just be naturally attractive)

these are just of course my takes on it, not something i expect to be taken seriously

The online version of the game wouldn't even load for me on itch.io (which is weird, considering it's the only game that has not loaded for me on there). It just went to a blank black screen just like with the windows download version. I'm using Chrome on Windows 11, if that matters at all.

its kind of a hit or miss, sometimes works, but the mega one for download was stated by the creator to be usable. same for the pc build on itch.

So just a comment for the dev corvienneetalle . You might want to clean up your sex dialogue. I was playing a male character (penis, no vagina) and did a sexual interaction with a "female" character from the inn. Only while the game said they were female it used masculine pronouns in some places and I think feminine ones in others. Also while there was penetrative sex available (penis -> vagina) the dialogue mentioned that they were "releasing" into my character which is worded completely backwards and also there was no dialogue of the reverse.

Overall I look forward to seeing what the game will have to offer in the future though.

I noticed this while flirting as well. Can't confirm it or anything but it almost felt as though it was trying to generate a new npc, or perhaps just their pronouns, per scene.

Also I couldn't plant anything in any plot of an area in which I had harvested from. For example, if I harvested from the herb garden I could no longer plant in any of the plots of the herb garden, I could however still interact with the fields up until I harvested a single crop from that set of plots.

This game seems extremely ambitious and will certainly be on my radar. I'm a touch cynical about it but I hope its progress can surprise me. If you can accomplish what it appears like your trying to do with what we've been shown the game will be legendary.

Pretty sure that is because you now have the Crop instead of the Crop Seeds. I.E. Parsley instead of Parsley Seeds. Not sure how you get more seeds.

Oh, yep this is exactly it. Harvested crops show up in the "resource to plant" drop down and it had me confused.

A year? Haha, not at all. Each major update listed should only take a month from start to finish - and some of them have been developed heavily already, like 1.4. My main focus with 1.0 was to setup a good foundation for the future and to see if people liked this type of game, the large gap between 1.0 and 1.1 was to allow me to have enough time to fix / polish the game and it doesn't reflect on actual development time of 1.1.

Ok then, should have figured it would be a bit quicker to come since you said you already have much of it done. I guess I just assumed that each updated would take about as long and I believe I saw somewhere the next 1.1 or 1.2 update being in February plus some of my own pessimism for ambitious games like this. It does seem like a nice concept and the bones are there, just need some more meat to it. But I me and everyone else is pretty much seeing this as a public Alpha I guess so I can be forgiving and anticipate what you are working on and hope that you do manage to finish this game. I'll have my eye on this for sure.

Same, I even went into the fetish settings myself and turned off chastity belts and it still happened to me.
