If you're a romance enjoyer like myself, then this game is a must-play. Stop reading the reviews, go back to the post, download the game and have your heart melt.
While the game isn't very long, it does take a long time for the girl to finally start opening up due to her trauma while you have you manage your time working a part-time job, buying food to not collapse from exhaustion and actually getting home in time to spend time with the girl and interact with her.
The thing I liked the most about this game were the major decisions during the turning points of the story. While I won't go into spoilers, when compared to other H co-habitation games this game does set itself apart with some of the things that you do and can be really subversive.
That being said, the game isn't without faults. First of all, the game is kind of janky especially when it comes to events. For example:
- You hit the requirements to trigger an event during Saturday, but the game refers to the day as Sunday or you trigger an event during the morning, but the scene takes place during the night with no actual time passing.
- Very often you can trigger an event after waking up or coming back from town, the event happens and right after it you get the generic "good morning" or "welcome back" scene as if it was all just a dream.
- If an event trigger is an action (for example, showering or going to bed), the action will not count as being triggered leading to things like going to shower > you end up showering in the event > event ends > oh I guess I didn't actually shower so I need to do it again.
There's also a chance-of-injury system, where you might get injured during work and have to skip a day in the hospital and pay 10k Yen meaning you lose progress and the chance to interact with the girl. It's not a very fun mechanic and even though there are *some* rewards being tied to it (with the girl giving you permanent buffs later on), you're still better off savescumming before working just to not lose progress and have the game be artificially longer.
My last gripe would be the progression sometimes being confusing. For instance, there is a laptop you can buy which can give hints on how to unlock the next event/scene, but it sometimes references things that you simply haven't unlocked yet with no way of knowing HOW to unlock them.
Even with these faults in mind, it's definitely one of the best romance games I've seen on this site, would definitely recommend.
