The art is good, and, while most scenes aren't animated, there are a few that are, hence the animation tag.
I didn't like the stamina mechanic at first, but it grew on me as combining it with the time limit mechanic gave it a meaningful role in terms of resource management. I think the game would've been a bit better if it had fewer events that end the day. Maybe offset that by making some of them cost stamina instead.
The combat is good, especially since you essentially have a limited amount of skill points and crafting materials to work with, which is why i don't understand the complaints about having to grind: enemies don't respawn and the shortcut option rapidly gives you experience, gold and crafting materials, especially if you hold ctrl to skip through the announcements. As an alternative solution to the end of day events being changed, having an option to spend all but 1 stamina with the shortcut option would work, too.
Lastly, this a bit of a self-inflicted mistake, but it would've been nice if the game had set the deadline for the penultimate boss 1 day before the overall deadline, so that players would remember to save a day for the final boss, given that beating a boss is an event that ends the day.
