Mainly a female POV corruption game with a heavy emphasis on cheating, pregnancy and NTR (sometimes you get the husband's POV).
I played v0.266, but didn't finish all the content despite investing a few hours into it.
Gameplay
The dev is a new creator and seems to be mainly interested in the game mechanics rather than the story and character development.
It's a RPGmaker game with several skill trees, an achievement system and lots of minigames and interactive sex scenes, as well as a game loop structure with a "new game +" feature that favors replayability. I encountered a few bugs, as is to be expected, but the experience is quite polished given the level of variables and the dev's inexperience.
Eventually, the gameplay started to become a chore (as happens with almost all RPGM games), despite the dev's investment into the variety of minigames and RPG mechanics.
Presentation
The art is... serviceable, I guess. It's based on AI models, but drawn by the dev, which sort of avoids that shiny "AI-look" that is off-putting to me, personally. It has a bit of that old, crude, Newgrounds-flash-porn-game feel to it, though none of the scenes were particularly memorable.
Also, the scenes have sound, which is always a plus.
Story
If this game had better writing and characterization I think I would have enjoyed it a lot more.
It does avoid some of the main NTR/corruption tropes, mostly because the main character has a caustic, nihilistic personality that's kind of off-putting. Other than this, I can't find much more to add to the description of the MC, other than she also comes off as a bit of a sociopath at times, especially in the first act.
This would be more comprehensible if it had been written in a campier tone, but I found the overall tone to be rather dark and serious.
I got the sense that there is some sort of recognition of this by the author, and that her personality and motivations are supposed to evolve in some way across the game, but the dialogue and character building didn't entertain or intigue me enough to find out.
Conclusion
A game with some interesting gameplay concepts that failed to entice me to keep playing due to its art and writing. I don't like giving it 3 stars since its the dev's first project, but I don't think it'd be fair to give it the same 4-star rating I gave to Traveler Inn Tales, which also has lackluster writing and art, but more compelling gameplay and a more appropriate, lighter tone to the writing.
I hope the dev doesn't take this harshly, there are some games on this site with seriously inflated ratings, especially in certain genres, but a 3-star rating is not a bad for a first game. I hope the dev is enjoying the process and can eventually take some of the lessons he'll learn from making this game and move on to better things in the future.
