Koppa Hime (クッパ姫) is the name of Bowsette in Japan. While (in the west) have named her Bowsette. Japan has named her koppa-hime. Koppa meaning "Bowser" and Hime meaning the "Princess".

Thus, in Japan, Bowsette is called "Princess Bowser" or クッパ姫.

it's koopa hime. in japan they use that name instead of bowsette => クッパ姫
(funny though, クッパ would actually be kuppa and not koopa)

No. It is not.

"little tsu" ッ aka "The sokuon" us used to double the consonant sound it procedes (Like you indicated). But it does not change the vowel sound.

You are right that クッパ is technically kuppa, but only as a romanization. That is not how it is pronounced. This wouldn't be an issue, except you used a different pronunciation example in the very same sentence.

ク is romanized as Ku. But ALL u sounds in Japanese are always pronounced like the oo in cool.

So クッパ SOUNDS like Koop-pah.

For reference. Japanese vowels always sound the same. You don't run into problems like the different "a" sounds in apple, car, or play.
  • All a sounds are like Car. (Like when the doctor says "Open your mouth and say AAaaaahhhh.")
  • All i sounds are like Keep
  • All u sounds are like Cool
  • All e sounds are like Eggs
  • All o sounds are like Rope
