I'm a bit reluctant to be the first bad rating for this game because I'm sure it's very satistfying for some people. However, I also think the current ratings don't highlight what to expect from this game, so I feel motivated to review it just so that like-minded individuals to myself know what to expect.
My complaints are as follows:
1) I'm sure I'm not the only one that likes to skim dialog in these kinds of games, only slowing down during scenes that suit your interest or seem important.
The problem here is this games plot is so convoluted and needlessly complex that
there is no dialog you can afford to skim over. The moment you skim over any dialog, you'll be severely, SEVERELY confused by the next scene.
There is a twist or a new revelation every five minutes, and all of them are as ridiculous as the last one. This is not a plot where you can logically piece together what might happen next, but rather it's a relentless onslaught of twists and turns and new revelations.
I'm sure I'm actually wrong here at some points, but to try and summarize the story:
Your wife is an ex-con (or something) that gets treated akin to a super spy. She loves you to the point of obsession and her old employers are forcing her to keep working for her under threat of hurting you. So basically she's trying to comply long enough that she has the upper hand, can kill them and then live happily ever after with you.
For some reason, your own employer also has a conspiracy against you and is trying to find dirt on you so they can ruin you. This also comes into play and the employer gets tips on changes to your status....or something. As I said, I'm winging it here. I read all I could and still feel like "wtf is going on?!"
There was also an agent who raped the player character and somehow affected his penis. This troubles the main girl to the point she states she would KILL HER OWN HUSBAND if his penis stops working, and thus she's willing to comply with whatever treatments are organized, often with her employer pulling the strings and not delivering exactly as she expected. (yknow, to keep her complacent) They like poison your balls or something, I dunno. I said I became aware I couldn't afford to skim, but that doesn't mean I had the patience not to do it!
Hilariously, you as the player character are the most normal John Smith dude ever. You go to work, you love your wife, you eat eggs and toast for breakfast. You are completely oblivious to all of this, so the majority of the game follows the wife to the point I question a male protagonist tag. It's a bit surreal when your wife has a 10-minute back-and-forth about murder plots and then your character finally returns and he's just like "hi honey I love you let's go to the duck pond on the weekend together.

2) The majority of dialog feels like it's out of an episode of Yu-Gi-Oh or Death Note: it's the characters describing why they do or do not have the upper hand. The vast majority of it just revolves around the plots and conspiracies going on behind the scenes above all else. It's your wife talking to "Sentinel" or "Apex" (yeah btw did I mention everyone has dumb codenames?) and explaining why she could kill them now, with them explaining why that's not a good idea and not in her best interest. It's relentless back and forths with your wife as the hero who tries to get the upper hand.
Dialog in sex scenes...? It's not exactly vivid. It's all rather barebones with no real emotion expressed in them. Perhaps ironically, the most interesting sex scenes are the completely vanilla ones between the player character and his wife, simply because at least SOME effort is put into those scenes rather than just viewing them as a means to an end....which brings me to the final point:
3) "Sex Under the Necessity" is the only tag for this game that feels extremely accurate...and that's bad.
There are a number of tags here, and while they're all
technically correct, I think the only ones that feel truly suited are femdom and sex under the necessity.
What I mean is....let's look at NTR and Snuff for example. Do they exist here? Yes. In what form...? Your wife finds out another woman slept with you and possibly poisoned your dick, (or whatever) so she goes on an investigation to find out who did it, vowing to kill her cause she's hyper-psycho-jealous. Your wife's codename is "Widow," and she kills men by sleeping with them. Whether this is a power of hers or just her calling card, dunno, I skimmed that part lol. So basically after she discovered someone reverse raped the player character, she goes out and kills two men by sleeping with them during interrogation.
Technically NTR,
technically Snuff. Can understand why these tags were applied, but I also doubt the fans of those will be pleased with the form in which those themes are being presented.
The reason I say only "technically" though is that these are utterly devoid of any real sexual investment. Your wife doesn't comment how hot this is for her for example, nothing in the text describes if she feels enjoyment, is close to orgasm, or if the victim feels anything either. The dialog isn't dirty talk between the characters, it's threats from the wife about what will happen to the guy's family if he dies before divulging information. The emotional reactions of characters during sex scenes are non-existent (except in the case of the player and wife, which are the minority), meaning that the sex scenes feel more like they're present to service the plot,
NOT as the main goal of the game.
To me, it's akin to if I write "and then the wife had sex with him and poisoned his dick and killed him while interrogating him for information." Does that quoted part I wrote turn you on? No...? Yeah, that's understandable, because I fed you purely factual information with no substance about the character's emotions, feelings, no dirty talk or anything to spice it up, just the raw, factual information and sex as a tool to forward goals.
That is my issue with this game that keeps me from enjoying it. The sex content feels like an afterthought, not the focus. I can only see femdom fans possibly enjoying this, but I think for all other tags present it's a rather bland experience.
Overall, the sex content just ain't all that and to make matters worse, this game's story is convoluted as can be, and you will immediately be lost if you dare skip over even one paragraph of dialog, meaning you cannot skip over the less-interesting sex content to reach the good stuff faster, but rather you must get out your handy dandy notebook and take notes on the plot so you know wtf is going on by the time the sex content even gets there.
Giving this 2 Stars because the warning I want to provide others is: expect a spy novel moreso than a sex game. Whether it's a particularly
good spy novel, no idea, I zoned out too hard while reading through it all. Whether that's on me as a person or on the quality of the writing, I'll make no judgement and leave it to others to decide.
