Unity - Brazen Witches [v0.1.9] [Crimson Warlock]

Really promising game. I really like the art style. The animations are good. It's an early stage of the game so it lacks options, content but it's okay. Can't wait to see what's next. Supported on Patreon. Keep up the good work!

so... there's potential here, but a really long way to go before I'd call it playable. you can mess around in it, sure. and the AI isn't horrible (mostly).

but...

• the GUI is crap. between targeting moving objects to "claim" rewards, guessing which side of the screen has the location you want to move to - as a pop up that doesn't always stay popped up, and having some locations not available in those pop ups at all (instead hiding in point-to-highlight then click spots)... I can't decide whether it's more frustrating or annoying, but it's definitely both.
• instructions are somewhat lacking. the tutorial tells you a little about how much and how you have to grind for *some* things, but there are plenty of recipe ingredients and timings you have to figure out on your own.
• the grind is... significant. and in some cases you get stuck on "get more reputation" before you can unlock scenes with a certain girl, but how to do so is up to you to figure out.
• and speaking of the grind, the dev has done their best to make the game un-cheatable. I can spend time on figuring out which encoding was used and run the - probably double - encoding, editing, then reserializing thing to make a few changes to things like money or rep (because most other changes would probably break the game), but the game isn't in a state to bother with all that yet. it could become something fun, but at the moment it isn't.
• plus I ran into a 'you have a new recipe

  pop up that stuck up top and prevented doing anything further (like room menus), so... I'm done looking for now.

maybe at some point this will be worth checking back into, but at the moment it's a lot of grind for almost zero pay off and a frustrating play experience.

Surprised this has has no reviews. Its early days but this seems like a promising game.

The theme is harem builder in hogwarts - which never gets old. AI CG is fine, the models look pretty good although it suffers from the big breast creep that seems to infuse so many games at the moment. Not my thing but it might be yours and to be fair they are just large not absurd.

There are some mechanics in place and the promise of some very saucy shennanigans.
