I really don't understand the game. Maybe it's because I'm not a native English speaker, and typing everything into Google Translate takes too long. I think after day 1, I need food, wood, and other resources, and the game tells me I need space for them, but I really don't know how to get those resources. I can only sleep with someone once a day, and that's it. And I got a scarf one day and a stool the next day from the Rift... So, my opinion of the game is: Nice idea, unfortunately completely unplayable because it doesn't explain what you're supposed to do or how to get resources in a classic survival game. So, nice try, unfortunately not really playable.

It's a breeding management game -- Kinda similar to Breeding Seasons and the games that was inspired by it.

There are some stuff that'd have helped you out, like:
1. How it was 100% for the 1st breeding (tutorial w/ Stellafall)
2. The next day (Tuesday) a slave merchant should have arrived, which has 6 units you could buy & can be reset for 500g.
3. Some starting items that'd give you more AP (one of the two resources needed for the ritual breeding/summoning)

Tho yeah, some of the stuff, doesn't really unlock until you progress further, like resource gathering buildings unlocks on day 5, another unique after day 7's battle, etc.

Ps. Think one of the next updates was gonna help w/ the Rift's summoning/gacha, as it lets you select from 3 different options instead of RNG.

Any way of getting a higher population count faster? Need to get to 1000 which takes forever. Completed every other quest, now it's just really grindy. Cool concept though.

AFAIK there are some rng events that give you some, along w/ beating the waves.
No clue if having excess food and/or send your excess folks add to it (numbers didn't increase when I last played it).
