Looking for good dark games with a very gritty setting and tone with themes that are also gritty. So gritty that you could metaphorically smell the stench the character or setting has emanated.
(On par with games like: Max Payne 3, Kayne & Lynch 2, Spec Ops: The Line, Hotline Miami 1 and 2, and TLOU 2).
Can include games that are nihilistic or cruel (may include: body horror, unlikable characters that don't trust each other, and etc).
Sexual content or not doesn't matter.
Can be Male or Female protagonist.
Can have humour but MUST be a serious game.
Can be a game where a protagonist descends into madness (or a villain/hero or whatever)
If you all have other recommendations, that would be great!
