I don't understand you. I didn't say anything about his writing. And I'm not complaining, I'm just pointing out the obvious. If a game has basically 4 different main characters with their own mostly unique game routes it's gonna slow down development unless the routes are extremely short. And the main reason I bring it up is because I started this game BEFORE it had all the extra routes and the content in that original route has barely progressed since version 0.1. Which is, you know, why I mention all the routes slowing development...

The game is free and the artist has said many times they are welcome to typo help and ideas. Toss in some help before making fun. imo. This game is FREE. That means the dev baked you an amazing cake out of kindness and you shit all over it. You are gonna say raise money on clicks and crypto and ape. NO. nobody online that has a brain does that. If I want to get fancy I put a tassle on my vibrator. The current one looks like a dreadlock
Here's the problem with your analogy and why some are upset. The dev had already made a good cake with some unique flavor and it was liked and well received because of that. This new cake is supposedly the same except now it's missing that flavor that some enjoyed about it. So it's less than what it was before. If the baker had me taste it and asked what I think, I would say "The previous one you made was better and tastier. I'd rather have that again but try adding more to it cause you already had something good there. This one is not as nice as the last one."
Seriously, there's nowhere near enough of that kind of content. Would've been a perfect niche to cater to but no, better relaunch the same game AGAIN. Maybe this time there will actually be content before it's abandoned again.
No, the dev made a pile of shit, the fact that it is free does not make it an amazing cake. I hate it when people say "ohhh, this is a free game by an independent dev, don't be too harsh". If it's bad - it's bad, no matter the price (everything is free on this website btw, if you haven't noticed) or the size of the dev team (most devs in here are doing their games alone or in very small teams)
Wow. Getting defensive over someone stating an obvious fact. A fact that's the equivelent saying, "It's faster to type 1, than to type 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1." Which is basically what you're doing when you make 3 games in one, it can triple the development time. And no, you don't have to type all that out yourself to understand what is blatanly obvious to everyone that isn't braindead.
Nah, nine times out of ten I would agree with you that people should be reasonable when they get stuff for free or go elsewhere, but this is actually pretty scummy. This is the third remake in as many years, where virtually nothing was added throughout those years, then the dev puts the game on hold with the idea of using 3d models instead in order to make customized images for the game only to come back to say he scrapped all that and started over to make a remake of a remake of a game only with a lot of cut content.
