RPGM - Completed - Busty Detective! The Case Files of Aine Tamagushi [Final] [Hurricane Dot Com]

After all these years, it was unexpected to find Hestia from Danmachi again, especially in an hentai game impersonating a detective.

The game itself is very well made: the pixel art and erotic animations are excellent, the mysteries are enjoyable to solve — albeit sometimes a little too easy — the comedy is fun, and the side activities are an eye candy. What's more, all the characters are voiced, which is very rare in erotic RPG Maker games. The main downside are the endings, as none of them were particularly satisfying, and the lack of post-game content (once you have finished, you can only go back to the last save, which is a real shame).

All in all, it was a fun and exciting experience!

Good voice acting, even small side characters have voice actors, amazing animated pixel art, detective style main menu, i especially liked the funny sound when saving and loading, the game is kinda funny, most characters are over the top and it's hilarious.
Now the game is really annoying with little things: no back log and no quest log, no skip button, the deduction part is really a guess and i just had to reload everytime i guessed wrong to avoid bad ending, some very annoying minigames where you just have to remember some pattern and lose until you do.

I ABSOLUTELY love everything that Hurricane Dot Com is doing!

Firstly, I didn't expect it to be them; it felt like something I had already played, but different.

It felt like I was playing Witch Trainer, with humor level and cross-references to other games, featuring characters from Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, and SO detailed animation. Tbh I never saw such a level of animation.

It is definitely a MUST play.

Animation 100/10, you will not find anything closer to it.

Kink: 100/10 This is hurricane, they do amazing in terms of scenes and kinks
Story: OMG, I was laughing all the way, it is really interesting and I need to read and understand what is happening

I would just say this is a great example of what an RPGM game should look like.

The h scenes in this game are well animated and voiced. I highly recommend for that, and the fun detective cases included. This game has a lot of comedy to it which made talking to npcs fun.

The plot goes by episodic detective cases interviewing characters to find info on the case. I liked the story a lot. Another thing I really liked was the music which is original. It fits the themes of the areas very well.

If you want a good comedy ero game; This is a must play.

High-quality pixel art with a funny story and cast. While the tutorial is somewhat confusing at first, due to the onslaught of mechanics, it's really simple once you start playing it.

Overall it's a great game, which doesn't take itself too serious, making it lighthearted and fun to play through.

I would prefer to give the game a 3/5, but I’d say why not bump it up a little bit just to balance out the average. Honestly this was pretty good. The game definitely has production value with amazing pixel art animations, voice acting for the main heroine, and a decent content scope.

The gameplay loop is pretty fun despite being mindlessly easy. You don’t have to think too hard when it comes to deduction play, and there’s a lack of consequences when picking choices. But the devs know how to spice up each case with its own interesting story, new mechanics, and locations to explore, so at least it’s not boring.

There’s barely any grinding at all, so you don’t need to worry about that, but you can miss out on some scenes. I haven’t fully finished the game, so maybe they’ll eventually let you unlock all the scenes? Not sure, but it does seem like there’s some extra stuff you can get access to by that point.

My only true gripe is the same as some of the other reviewers here, which is that the main heroine is already an experienced slut. This is ofc disappointing since there’s no proper build up from pure to corrupted girl, and the fact that the game even provides you with those typical stats you often see in corruption genres ends up feeling absolutely useless. At least the scenes are very well animated, and the actress is killing it with her voice performance.

I really don't understand the good rating. Even though the game has a good first impression, with being voiced and good pixel art, the rest is extremely bland an the story is nonsensical. For example having a corruption score, but her already starting out as a slut. Overall the game feels pointless and boring. It does a lot, but in the end nothing at all.

Busty Detective is one of the best H games I have played this year. Character design is great. Really good pixel art and story. Some of the puzzles could have been better but I prefer this over rpg grinding. Hope there is a sequel.

So hear me out, I don't blame the high rating everyone else gives it. For an H game, this game is high quality, with animation and everything. But it's all soured by what I don't like about the game.

Like the detective puzzles, they don't really matter at the end if you get them wrong. Choices have no impact on the story. And you know what else has no impact? Her corruption levels. She starts out as a slut, which makes every H scene samey and boring. Especially because the logic of why she does it most of the time is so absurd, even for Hentai.

It just all feels pointless, it's like a visual novel, but the story isn't that great because logic is always thrown out the window. And sure the H content is great, but at that point, just watch Hentai.

Good art, great dialogue, h scenes are a little boring but they look clean. The dialogue and VA make this a very solid game, its probably a 4.5/5 bc the gameplay is a little boring, and its a bit of a grind to see EVERY scene.

This is a pretty standard scene-collector with minimal gameplay between scenes. Aine is basically a Hestia-expy but she's a slut from the start. The art and animation is good but at the same time the scenarios are so bland and many of the characters act in unrealistic ways to the point that it's difficult to get immersed. No fap out of ten.

I played it in one go because it's awesome.

The story is simple but very funny and I love the characters.
The gameplay it's definitely not a revolution but much better than the usual RPG games. But the best parts of it are the animations/drawings. They are just amazing!

I think after Nymphomania Paradox [TechnoBrake] this one is my second favorite game.

Amazing animations and cgi make this game 5 stars. Story is simple and relatively easy to follow. There's full voice acting which adds a good element to this game, makes it different than others. Scenes are interactable, animations are smooth, and the pixel art is incredible.

I didn't think I'd find gold playing this game. But I did! The plot is simple, funny, and entertaining, and the CGI and animations are absolutely incredible.
Aine is a detective with huge tits and a mischievous attitude...and I love her.

The only criticism I have is that the game is very short.

It's a Hurricane Dot, so the animations are expected to be really good. The gameplay is simple, you just go and do something someone asked.
Although it gets repetitive, the scenes make up for it.
I was surprised that is a full voiced game, cheers for the VA of Aine.
Also, some scenes have variations (bench or massage as examples).

The only problem i can find is that sometimes you lose track of what you have to do.

Overall: 4.5 ★
