Anyways.. I just started Akira points and well..
Debating on whether or not i should keep playing this..
Recommending Butter's Ultimate(?) Wholesome Games/Doujins List! (a la VoltageFlame) || Also a Discussion and Recommendations Thread! (MAJOR UPD: 02/20/25!!)

From my memory, I believe Happy NEET was also second cousins.
I think these are going to be my guidelines on incest from now on:
1). Second Cousins are the MAXIMUM closeness in relationship that I'm going to be fine with
2). They have to have not been interacting with each other for a majority of their life (no actual familial bonds, basically- if you grew up together as a family or something then that's a hell no..)
3). Has to not be a major plot point, if the game is like, making a HUGE deal out of them being somewhat related, thats too far into making incest a kink.
With that being said, I'm probably going to finish Akira points as it (to my knowledge) just about fits all of the points i just made, and I don't want to drop an otherwise amazing game for something I can ignore/could've just not seen (like happy neet)

There shouldn’t be any? Never seen it, and it wasn’t required for the ending which requires every obtainable scene and achievement.

It's incest though as the girl is your cousin, though you can say no to most sex scenes and her role in the story is more akin to a childhood friend rather than a family member if that makes it any better.

Second cousins is the max I’ll go, but even then it both has to be 1). Not a main point and 2). They haven’t legitimately been like, real family with each other (estranged, forgotten, long lost, etc is.. fine I guess)

Got in the mood for a bit to play some more stuff- I'm currently fully commited to playing Eiyuu*Senki: The World Conquest [Tenco], and I have to say, this is both geniunely beautiful, ANDthe most fun I've had; both gameplay and DIALOGUE wise.
I'm only like half an hour into the game, but I've legitimately stopped to read/listen to every dialogue- the voice acting is amazing and the lines are actually really funny!
Also, Himiko is such an adorable little goober.. (first scene freaked me out, then it was just revealed that she's just a bit too imaginative, lmao)

If you liked the gameplay.. You'll love sengoku rance but.. ofc rance series is not exactly a vanilla game.. mostly

On the topic of World Conquest- you should like you’ve played it before.
Are the romances/sex scenes outside of Himiko optional? I started playing this game because I heard it has some really nice enemy-lover type stuff- but Himiko is SO precious that I basically immediately wanted to dedicate everything to her. Plus, I just got her first scene (cute- but.. that description was a little much..), however since it was essentially a forced mission, I’m wondering if any of the other girls are going to have something like that.. I really don’t want to cheat on Himiko D:
*Edit, looked on the wiki (for just Himiko, game’s too good to get spoiled on!) and it seems like she might be the sole LI? Not sure, but I really, REALLY hope so!

anyways about himiko I love her so much I think I have a thing for slightly dumb yet very lovable characters shes so precious and headpattable but also she actually gets headpats all the time and its so cute argh I hope the game lets us not go harem though I also wish the first scene was a bit better like it started pretty cute and obviously stayed consensual but when its like she’s forcing herself for your sake but your also forcing yourself for her sake then its just kind of uncomfortable for everyone howd it start all gentle then end up with both people bleeding for various reasons !! anyways this is a lot of text tldr himiko is adorable

Luckily, from what I've seen all harem/stuff outside of Himiko is optional!
Though, one thing I need to say is that the MC really needs to have boundaries. There's way too many people flirting with him (with Himiko openly being very defensive of him and disliking any flirtatious activities from other girls), and he almost never even addresses it or reassures Himiko of anything..
