i tried using cheat engine, but i think the number is stored in hex inside of the .sav file..
i know it's in the 'DS7V03Setting.sav' file..
is there a way to find it beside just looking for the hex value of the number of coins I have collected, and then changing it to a new hex value, then save?
example.. I have 23 coins, so look for 17.. then change it to 99 coins, so put in the value 63?
is that the only way? or would that not work?
edit: maybe i could search for the hex value in cheat engine.. is that a way also?
