Can I release my first build of my game now?

Hi, I'm making my first game/anime parody VN with some sandbox in renpy. But I don't know when to release it. I really want to release it now tbh but I'm not sure. for now my game has:

-An intro with the main heroines(6) short introduction
-map with 4 simple locations/only bed clickleable for sleeping
-2 nsfw scenes/not sex scenes yet
-Only 1 heroine route started, it is around 25%.
-you can find the other heroines in some locations of the map in certain times but you can only have repetitive small dialogue.
-there isn't music or voice sounds.
-20/30m of duration
And i think that is all... What do you think? can I release it?

If in doubt, release it as a 'Demo' / proof of concept.

It's your game, all said and done. If you feel it's ready for the public eye, then go for it. That said, sandboxes get a fuckton of shit. Mostly because they suck nine times out of ten, but another point harped on often with sandboxes is a lack of content early on. You only have one first impression, so it's smart to make it count.

I personally say hold off on releasing it and dump some more content into it, swing for the fences. Or you can have someone playtest for you blind (maybe on the recruitment sub-forum?) and see if they think its ready for release. What clowns234 said is also a valid option.

I totally agree with MissFortune : you only get one first impression!

So i would suggest you to first create a development thread here with a few screenshot and presentation, and see if you get any reaction to the game.
Given what you wrote the in game content is limited and we don't know how polished it is. If you publish your demo now it may have too many placeholders or a draft style that won't be well accepted by the public.

TL;DR before publishing, gather opinion on the work already done through screenshots.

Provided you did that correctly, with links and all, then it's just a waiting game. There's likely a queue, so just have to wait for the staff to get to it to review it.

yeah, I plan to do that, but probably I'll start the heavy promotion when I release the next update of my game since I feel I can give a better first impression of the game.
