Seeking Can you recommend some well paced, serious Japanese Visual Novels?

A big part of why I haven't played more than a small handful of japanese visual novels is because every time I ask for recommendations it feels like every time I ask I mostly just get comedies, slice of life, or something larger than life. Or something where the MC is really insecure, and has serious issues with women.

Can you recommend something that isn't like this at all, and is well paced, and serious?

Please don't recommend it unless you know that it's well paced.

Please, recommend something that doesn't fall into any of those categories.

Also, nothing where your character commits sexual assault, or someone sexually assaults you please.

Some stuff that would be nice, but I'll check em out regardless of whether they fit this bill:

I'd love if you can recommend some fantasy, especially if it's medievil or urban fantasy. There's gotta be some non-slice of life fantasy.
