Can't open RPG VX Ace games

Until recently I haven't been able to open games. I would try to start the application but nothing would happen. I have Locale Emulator updated and I reinstalled all the RPG VX Ace games. Another thing to note is that when I reinstall the games they would work but the moment I close them they never open again.
Any ideas on why they might not be working?

Another note is that I factory reset my pc and they still wont work.

Yeah I have, but the games would only start once when I download them and then they wouldnt open after
