can't run HTML games in Firefox or Edge

I found that I can't run HTML games in Firefox for about a week now. (firefox 81.0, WIN 10, 64bit)

Traced the issue to "Blocking third party cookies". But this was not a problem before.

Also tried the game on Edge. similar problem.
How to add exception to this role (in Firefox)? for HTML running from disc.

and no, I will not use Chrome. also, no problem with Chrome.

Sounds like you have the browser setup with highly restrictive settings setup, probably for security or privacy reasons so it can't properly store any information from the game. So something in your browser's settings is preventing it from working properly. Might have to reset your settings or something and see if it works after that.
