Can't run some games. Does anyone have a solution?

I have problems with some games. When I finish the installation, then run the game, but nothing happens. I waited for a long time, opened the game twice, and reinstalled many times, but it still didn't work. I'm using Win 7, 64-bit, and 4GB of RAM. Does anyone have a solution for me? I can't play the games I love because of this.

The solution sounds like a new computer.
With those specs, your video card is probably also inadequate.

Some games just won't run properly on a computer with your specs. While there may be things you could try for each game, in the end, you really have two major options:

Buy a new computer, or
Live with the fact you won't be able to play everything

Depends on the game and its requirements. Am I right to assume that these aren't necessarily hentai games if they require a proper install? Have you made sure that your antivirus, if you use one, hasn't quarantined or deleted a file it deems suspicious that might be part of the game's crack? While on topic, there's a possibility that the pirated game requires the manual copying of the crack and associated files over the original installation. Check that. And in case these are proper hentai games, some of them in any case, they might no longer support Windows 7 due to engine updates. If none of this helps, we'd need a proper example of the games in question to help you further.

Yeah, this need more info.
You may be missing something (VisualC++ packages etc.), but the problem is probably the OS itself. With Win 7 you can forget about most games built on Unreal 5.1+, as well as Unity since version 2.2023. For games that are in dev, the engine sometimes gets upgraded, so you can play it up to a certain build, but then suddenly you can't.

You can try testing if games run on Ubuntu. This is basically just a bandaid fix though
"Get a new system" is the best advise here.

Probably some cheap used laptops or desktops available if you search at the right places.
I recommend 16 gb ram (2x 8gb sticks) at least for future proof

For hardware requirements, check what the min specs are of the games that don`t run and try to go with that.
if you can get away with it, better hardware would be preferable, again to be future proof.

Windows 10 is basically mandatory as OS at this point. Personally, i wouldn`t bother with Win11 at the moment. Every dev who wants more money will keep continuing games for win10 for the foreseeable future. Win10 can be got cheap from key resellers or... "found"... in the open sea.

As a reminder:
Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. After that date, Windows 10 will no longer receive security updates, bug fixes, or performance enhancements. Microsoft will also no longer provide support.

You might as well start looking for Windows 11 24H2 machines.
