Just downloaded the escoffier and it took 2 hours to 98% and then just got a limit notification pop up...

I'd deploy some vultr instances and use them as proxy if I really want to download something huge from MEGA.
Each give 5 GiB of download, and cost just a few cents in total.
But if it takes 2 hours to download 2.9 GiB... You should just leave it overnight.
