Unreal Engine - Carnal Instinct [2025-05-08] [Team Carnal Instinct]

Incredibly ambitious and while it has room to grow what exists now is better than any 3d adult game out there. They've done a great job implimenting QOL changes and other things such as character customization that you usually only see in higher end games.

Damn the bugs I kept encountering just flat out annoyed the gell out of me. Trying to travel using the boats was a rollof the dice as to whether it actually worked properly or not. Sometimes you are on top of the boat driving it and can change directions and go where you want. OR you end up underneath the water will no directional control and the person moves along automatically in one direction with no controls. You can look up and see the boat moving above you.

Sex. I am hope at some point you get to have sex with the female characters you meet. I meet them, sex is offered, my character responds only with maybe another time. Now if the female also has a dick then my charater does not hesitate to decide to have sex. Sex controls suck balls by the way. Could not do shit until I actually unlocked a dick by the way.

If you die. The quest you were working on just flat out disappears.

UHHHH! Aside from these faults it probably is not a bad game. But I stayed pissed off more than excited to play it.

Hope this improves. Would like to give it another try.

The game is beautiful and actually fun to play, and i might come off as rash which is not my goal but, the game is litteraly unplayable.. I was softlocked thrice in the game, and one of them was a softlock that just kept happening and wouldn't go away.. The game has potential for sure so i'll come back later and surely give it a positive review

Waste of time. This makeshift tech demo bearly runs has no content and honestly i warn you if you dowload this 6 gigs you will play for like 20 min as a mumy fighting braindead npc mobs and that is it so don t wast your time and play something else.

This game is a letdown. A critical bug with the first boss makes the mission inaccessible after your first death, completely halting progress. It's impossible to see any further content, rendering the game essentially unplayable. Urgent fixes are needed!

Very nice graphics, atmosphere and character models, but the adult-content could be improved. There interactive predefined sex scenes, but not even a free cam or meaningful interactions.
The Intro is quite long though and it takes quite a while to get to the "interesting" stuff.

The beginning of the game, right up until you can choose a character, is really fun and feels like a decent AA game. After that, it becomes boring very quickly: there’s no point in exploring, and there’s just nothing to do in general. The funniest thing is that the sexual aspect itself seems like the last thing the devs care about. Playable characters and NPCs look undeniably sexy, but that’s all there is - the actual sex scenes are lackluster and uninteresting

The game on UE5 is weak, idk about UE4 version which was before. It can be good game if it was not aRPG with ambition of really massive game, but survival\social sirvival. But it's arpg with massive and empty world, with quests where 90% of just don't do visible impact on gameplay, some is totally useless. I catch several times idea in my head "why this quest even exist in game?". With 0 replayability in core mechanics. Models not ugly but mediocre at best. Corn scene is meh. Like in half scenes camera position bad, and u can't fix this, like really bad coz u see everything include random stones nearby but not the main things. Bad genitals physics on top. Game try in facial animation in cutscenes, but do this bad. Just why? Focus on corn scenes and totally skip in cutscenes, there is no difference and u'r free the resourses. Game also have dungeon inside, some okeish, but some is really bad lvl design with a lot of backtracking without clue what to do next.
Game need a lot of work and a lot of reworking in core mechanics.

UE 5 Version
This game has a lot work needed so I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. The scenes aren't worth the slog to get there, the quests are unfinished and prone to sequence breaks such as first quest if you push the crates by the door before hitting the previous objective spot by hopping over the wall, the quest is bricked.

Maybe in a few years this game will be in a good state but until then, good luck.

The ue4 version was great and i really hope to see the features from that version in the newer ue5 version aswell.
Its the most enjoyable game i got from any website for porn games. i like fighting, the story is interesting but needs some more time and updates.
Looking forward for this one and actually paying patreon on this one.

tldr: Attempt at being an AAA porn game. Currently lacking in content, but hopefully not a patreon scam aimed at milking supporters for as long as possible.

Pros:
Massive & beautiful 3D world
There's actual gameplay
Great character models

Cons:
Not enough content for the massive world = feels empty & a walking sim
Buggy (unsure if just me. But save/loading in tutorial caused some strange bug like world resetting and having to redo quests?)
High hardware requirement. Going to need some newer GPU to run this well.
Not much content for the tagged fetishes and is rather vanilla

Hopefully they add more content soon

Pretty much a AAA game in the making except made by a small studio. The art direction is flawless, the game mechanics work, the characters look awesome, the voice acting is great. Projects like this are less than a handful.

One of the Best Games made with Unreal Engine 5 and is absolutly worth your Time if this is your kind of Genre!
Beautyfull Landscape, many Quests to do(a Lot of repeateble Sexscenes)
and a great Collection of Different Weapons and Armor .
Various different Fightingstyles aswell.

Ver. 22/12/24 - The best way to look at this game is it's one of those incredibly ambitious projects that wanted to be a big thing, then decided to cash in on the sex-appeal side, but it's just your standard vanilla "insert a single pose sex scene every hour or so and call it a day" rather than any mechanics or anything actually worth playing. As such it's just another one of those cool games in comparison to other H games with a sex scene available here and there. Despite the game setting itself up perfect for a RoR or struggle system, the problem is due to the funding and platform route they have gone, if they implement that, they will likely get banned and end up losing funding for including any rape stuff. As such a mediocre "try once and explore for a few hours before realising there isn't anything more inviting to play for" is all I fear this game will be.

It's ok, and that feels really bad to say for a game with so much effort like this. Voice acting, animations, good graphics and decent customisation, but there's nothing to do but swing away at the same respawning random enemies. This is one of those H games that wants to be more Game than H-game, and unfortunately that then makes you subconciously judge it in comparison to actual games, where it just falls so short in comparison.

Carnal Instinct is an ambitious 3D action RPG that promises a vast world, customizable characters, and some spicy NSFW content. I gave it a shot back when it first launched but didn’t have much to say—there wasn’t enough meat to the game yet. Fast forward, it seemed time to revisit this self-proclaimed AAA title to see if it’s finally worth diving into. Spoiler alert: it’s not.

Story and Atmosphere
The main story is passable for a 3D NSFW game, but the delivery? Brutally bad. There’s no voice acting or meaningful choices to steer the narrative. You don’t feel connected to the world or its people, who are barely sketched out. And forget character development; there’s no growth, no self-discovery, and certainly no soul-searching despite the "action RPG" label.

Visually, the ancient Egyptian-inspired motifs are nice to look at, but the atmosphere feels lifeless. There’s no dynamic world-building to immerse you in the story, and it just doesn’t mesh.

Gameplay
The gameplay is… raw. Combat is repetitive, basic, and honestly a chore. You’ll spend most of your time fighting random enemies that spawn everywhere, only to realize it’s the same loop over and over again. Sure, there are different animations for various weapons, but the bland AI and uninspired boss fights make you question the point of all the action.

Exploration feels just as hollow. The open-world design forces you to wander aimlessly, revisiting the same areas and fighting the same enemies. The loot is dull (think slight variations of the same gear), and quests are mostly uninspired fetch missions that drag you from one end of the map to the other. Random side quests and dialogues pop up occasionally, and while I appreciate the devs' effort, they don’t add much—neither to the gameplay nor to your character.

Graphics and NSFW Content
Visually, the game gets some points. The environment design and textures are decent, and the world looks alright at first glance. But then come the characters.

The physics and details, especially in NSFW scenes, are laughably bad. Animations lack collision and fluidity, with body parts awkwardly floating around like they don’t belong. The combat and walking animations are okay, but without proper effects (like jiggles, water effects, etc.), it all feels incomplete.

Carnal Instinct does have some redeeming qualities. The expansive map and RPG elements provide a decent foundation, and it offers a playable experience with some variety in exploration and combat. However, the game is bogged down by its glaring shortcomings.

The NSFW content, which is supposed to be its selling point, falls flat due to poor animations and outdated mechanics. The lack of choice in NSFW interactions makes it feel stale and repetitive, and the overall quality just doesn’t meet expectations. For a game with this theme and ambition, delivering polished and dynamic content should’ve been a priority—but sadly, it’s not there yet.

If you’re after an immersive RPG or satisfying adult content, Carnal Instinct doesn’t quite hit the mark. It’s a game with potential, but it needs a lot more work to live up to its promises.

It feels bad giving a low score to a game like this because the effort involved is obvious, but it feels like a case of ambition over execution. There's a vast beautiful world... with nothing to do in it. For a game that's focused so much on fighting, the combat is clunky and feels like a chore, where victory often feels like a matter of random chance. On top of that, it takes a good hour or so before you even get a glimpse of any adult content (which isn't worth the wait).

Respect to the developers for wanting to make an actual game, but the gameplay only stands out in comparison to other porn titles, which puts it in an awkward position where it's not really good enough at either the game or the porn part yet. This still needs a lot of work. Maybe check back in a few years.

It has alot of potential but there are still alot of things missing with the game, it is in "Pre-Alpha" though so hopefully it gets better with age and the devs dont abandon the game. If your playing the game for fapping material it will take you a while to unlock that content because your character starts as a "formless" which is basically a mummy with no form and you have to do a few quest to be able to get to the character creation screen.

Damn. I remembered trying the UE4 version of this game and being underwhelmed, mostly due to how clunky it felt. I have to say, the UE5 version is leagues better. It has actually fun combat. I never thought I would see the day that I played a 3d porn game with good combat, but here we are. The new version is leagues better than the old UE4 version, can't wait for more updates.

Carnal Instinct is a real piece of work. Lots of great stuff to see here (if you've got a good enough computer to witness it all) Surprisingly above all else it manages to get all the basic game fundamentals down very quickly, which leaves everything else up to the player with some - let's be honest - slow and chore-like flow of gameplay that rarely feels rewarding.

Don't get me wrong, this is top-shelf shit when it comes to H-Games, but Carnal Instinct often feels like it's padding for time more than it feels like an actual game. Everything feels good, but not amazing. Missions are fine, but nothing special. Sex is a treat, but not a full-course meal. This is a crazy top-line project trapped under an overall mediocre design.
