The closest game I'm aware of that lets you toy with and stretch characters dynamically is Hotel Elera, but that still has prefab positions.

The short story behind this is the team transitioned from UE4 to UE5 since new UE releases get about 10 years of support from the developers of the engine and plenty of collaboration and advice sharing from game dev forums. Prior UE releases get less support over time as Epic no longer works on the engine and game devs no longer use it or offer advice for it.

Jarring content losses to build back to are the standard problem with this kind of situation. The team had to do it to keep the game worthy to continue building during the following years, so they switched to an engine that will stay good in the long run. They're restoring content over time.

There was a model of a giant scarab creature being worked on for the UE4 release, so it’s probably a matter of time until they add it to UE5.

Any particular part of the incoming update that catches your eyes? Personally I'm morbidly curious about how bad the fishing is, so that's gonna be the first thing I poke just because. Also gonna take some time to poke the updated UI to see how many different ways I can break it. That hasn't typically taken very long, but at least when I find something I'll be able to report what actions to avoid.

From what I understand, it contains less than the UE4 version for now, but they’re obviously working on reimplementing all the content from UE4 little by little.
