Edit (.7): ok I figured out the teddy bear thing. Its a bug. if you save, restart, and load the game, you can give the teddy bear to Ellen and get +10 relationships and you can keep getting teddybears from the werewolf in the cave in the forest. BUT IT STILL DOESNT DO ANYTHING WHEN YOU GET TO 100/100 relationships

Well, there are less bugs. but I can't give a teddy bear as a gift? What the hell can I give as a gift then?? I just genuinely believe they are not actually adding the features they say are there.

Do you meet a nun? yes. do you have anything other than a weird conversation? no.

Can you meet the maintenance guy? yes. can you do anything with him? no.

Can you meet a traumatized redhead? yes. can you do anything with her? no.

Edit: the bugs are still there and getting worse. errors before you actually get to the asylum, items getting deleted.

Edit:I keep coming back. I keep hoping because it has "promise"

still buggy and I do not believe some of the things they say are in the game are actually there.

Edit: Since I played it last the bugs have gotten worse. endless encounters, teleporting around the game, unable to sell inventory that is useless.

    it got worse

I want to like this more. it has the makings of a good story and it uses the the HTML game format in an interesting way with save points being location specific.

but there are just a few things that really annoy me.

Saves are really buggy which is really frustrating because of the RNG fights.
the flashlight being annoying. Its not clear if its on or not, I can't turn it on once I am in a room, and the battery just disappears some times.
the parking area where the FBI car is just disappears along with the other cars after opening the FBI car?
the janitor's shop being 100 clicks away.
Sanity also just completely disappears walking around.

Its pretty low on sexuality. like you see the MC naked, she masturbates once, you peep on a neighbor once. just 1 or 2 gifts basically, but I don't mind if its a good story.

Ill give it a 3 for unusual format, decent writing, and a good ambiance.

but they really really need to replace Dr Home with something that isn't a doctor house rip off and fix their bugs save .

I think the other reviews might be rating the presentation a bit too highly. The UI is very slick, the layout is gorgeous, the visuals are very high-effort. The question is, what's being presented?

That fills me with less confidence. The writing is the real reason this is a 2. It's bad and boring, really bland and derivative. Prime example; the first big antagonist you encounter is Dr Home, which is clearly Dr House fed into ChatGPT. I don't think the writing itself is AI generated, but it still reads like trying to eat raw flour - the dialogue is especially bad. Also, "House" was already a pun on "Holmes"! It's a worse version of someone else's joke that they didn't understand!

There are also already too many systems for too little benefit. Needing to find batteries for your torch which actually depletes in realtime is an ambitious use of Twine, but not fun. Each of these has their own chances of technical problems, bugs and drain on development time which are already obvious.

Excellent game. Absolute gold standard for an actual game with things to do, a microcosm of brainpower, genuinely a bit of fun in addition to porn which is also as good as AI use gets. Really happy with it, hope the dev sticks with it. FFS scammers get a million a month and actual creativity barely gets an interaction let alone support or shares.

More content than you would expect for only one update so far, but can't wait for it to be done.

This is a fascinating game, with lots of potential and a much darker story than we see on this website. Although this is an HTML game, it's clear that the developer has learned a lot from his previous game, not only in terms of character development, but also in presentation.
As it stands right now, the game makes sparse use of AI (for character portraits and transitions), while most of the content is derived from real porn. Surprisingly, both do complement each other, and do not detract from enjoying the story.
Although the female protagonist is very attractive, she carries a look of determination and seriousness throughout, which makes the world of the game feel more grounded and real. The way she speaks to others and herself also feels tonally consistent.
Furthermore, even though it's clear that there will be more sexual content as the story progresses (and Casey falls victim to the hospital's experimentations), it seems as though she will not lose sight of her sexual agency, or her personal motivations to solve the case.
Keep in mind that the game currently has very little sexual content. This is only a demo, after all. But the developer's previous game (The Mansion) had loads of scenes, love interests and a very long story full of twists and turns, so I'm not concerned at all.
The game also has some gameplay elements that I haven't seen in any other game - there's a sanity meter that actually seems to work, as well as a flashlight functionality that changes the way the protagonist moves in the environment - especially with enemy encounters.
I'm confident the game will be able to make proper use of these elements in future updates, perhaps by slowing the drain rate for the batteries, and further develop the combat by incorporating the sanity gauge. It's a very ambitious and unique approach to adult games.
As long as the developer is able to keep the game's code simple and tidy (without needlessly complicated variables or features), and as long as the story remains dark and brooding, I feel that this game will be a breath of fresh air in an overcrowded - if not oversaturated market.
So I highly recommend it if you're on the mood for something different. It's more akin to Alan Wake 2 than modern-day porn games with stupid, naïve characters with no agency who are only there to be abused by others, as we often see with female protagonists.
The premise is interesting, the UI is polished, and the execution so far is quite decent and tonally consistent. Do yourself a favor and check it out.
