Honestly I was thinking about going all vanilla but the game will lack.
I have to see what I can do, I mean I've seen some pretty weird shit on Patreon and I thought I was in the safe zone. I've seen games with rape and incest.
I'm gonna fix this. This game is my life and I've invested so much time and effort into it. I really want it to succeed.

Well yes, if you make it easy for yourself it will just be another RPG Maker game. The four common problems for boring games are inexperience, overconfidence, not giving a shit or being handicapped by someone. Traumatic events in life or bad unavoidable stuff are a separate story.

A word of caution. Don't even think of fixing the stuff now and turning it back at some point. Patreon keeps track of previous "rule breaking" and will ban you most likely instantly if you get caught.

I don't know what to do! I have to reconsider a lot of things and my hands are gonna be tied to my back! I am working so hard to develop my game and make some money from it and now this. Is there any other platform I can use? For now I think I have to axe the sexually "violent" content. I'm so sad, so frustrated.

Shit like this is one of the reason I hate Patreon and their stupid guidelines, I really hope you can get your account back soon. Beside Patreon you should create account on other site like subscriblestar as an alternate site to get support too
I think you can temporary take down or change the content with Kaali, hopefully that would be enough to restore your account

Hello friend, I see you too have fall victim to Patreons questionable rules and what is good or wrong.

My advice is speak with the guys from Patreon in a civilized way and try to find a way to get through with your ideas. This will be hard. Imo those people should ask themselves what a braindead employer they picked to get their salary.

As an example how dumb Patreon is... it's ok if the player gets raped but he/she isn't allowed to rape. Makes sense, right? That's how stupid Patreon is and why so many people moved over to Subscribestar or other alternatives where range is worse but existing as a game dev is more enjoyable.

To fix the situation with the Kaali prison scene. Why not change her a little to act in a different way by being ok with the situation (or so it seems, she has an escape plan but plays along to get your trust) and the player isn't raping her but she is ok with the whole thing. Just make sure nothing points out that incest or direct rape is involved. Also be careful with feral characters, might count as bestiality... IN A FANTASY GAME because animals in our world look just the same, right?! xD

Oh and... you could speak to Nullbunny and Cookiedraggy, the makers of the game "Kincaid" for some more advice. I can't guarantee that they have time to help in length but they probably know some more ways to avoid Patreon BS. A link is in my signature and they even have a discord channel.

Furry are okay if they didn't look completely like an animal, so I think you will be fine with Kaali but for now just avoid her storyline for a while, Patreon are pretty retarded when they targeting someone with minor problem while ignored lot of games with serious rape and incest in it

I'm glad that you got your account back, sad that now you had to change the game from your vision of it to comply with them but I'm more happy that you are allowed to developing this masterpiece more and that would be enough. So what I have done is remove the jail sex scene with Kaali. I had intended to add imprisoning option to enemies you defeat, so for example when you defeated a feral CB you could put her in your jail and have sex and stuff, but that idea is out the window. another thing I had to change was the backstory between Mother Susan (who is now called Sister Susan) and the MC so it's not considered as incest. The thing is, Patreon doesn't only consider blood ties as incest so if Mother Susan has raised Miles that falls in the incest category. But I have seen some creators get away with this, although I'm not going to say who because that might cause them trouble Now what I have done is, I have added the option to name another two of the characters in the game. So players can now rename Sister Susan and Aunt Miles to whatever they like, say Mom and Auntie...but the default names are neutral so it doesn't raise any red flags.

Haha wait, the title "Mother" and "Father" was always about the church and how people hold that title if they are in charge of the building, right? This is new level of stupidity from Patreon. Even if they are not religious at all (like me) they surely have heard that this is a common thing in christianity and has nothing to do with real mother and father unless its a very funny coincidence. xD

Such a shame the prison sex with Kaali got removed but for the sake of the game survival this is to be understandable. Very nice that you allowed players to change the relationship to their liking, I'm so glad you finally bounced off stronger than before

Well I, for one, will probably not play if the original vision was tarnished and the game turned into some vanilla thing. That's just me though. Obviously, protecting your income is the priority. Some devs make it pretty big on subscribestar, but that site certainly has less traffic than patreon.

There are so many games with rape, incest, and even worse stuff like murder+necrophilia on patreon that gets by without alerting their SJW police. It's pretty likely that some asshole reported you. Did anyone get butthurt over something before you got banned?

Even if the dev knows the person it would be meaningless. In the eyes of Patreon that person did nothing wrong when it hurts their rules. I already told the dev to move to Subscribestar (or at least have a backup account there just in case) to avoid that cancer platform.

I hope the solution to avoid Patreon won't be too hard and spares the game. Can't wait that Patreon suddenly bans all anthro stuff or declares that male x female sex isn't allowed anymore because we all should tolerate sex with the same gender or sex with those dozens of new discovered fantasy genders from some drugged people.
