Hot take, but if a game is allowed to exist on Steam it doesn't really make much sense that'd it be restricted from being posted here.

This site also does NOT allow non adult games
This site does NOT allow as stated above games requiring an online connection
As stated above MANY of the adult base games on steam do NOT have access to full content (must be patched)

and most importantly

This is a PRIVATE forum that has NO obligation to host / link to ANYTHING it chooses not to.

Also steam takes a cut from sales which is one of the reasons they can afford those high priced lawyers, this site DOES NOT.

If you want the games not here so badly, support the dev and go buy it on steam or just pirate is somewhere else.

or

"boohoo why can't we have ALL non sexual content games here"

The point of the post was to discuss rule enforcement, and the cases where it does and doesn't make much sense.

If the point is to discuss, then do it, discuss... And for this, starts by giving some example of games available on Steam that have been refused here despite them following the "no game without a certain degree of lewd" and the "no game with mandatory online connection" rules.

And I insist twice on the "refused" part because, for pretty obvious reasons, games that aren't available here because no one leaked them do not count.

In regards to steam games with patches, I'm not sure why that would factor into a game being banned here, considering Living With Sister: Monochrome Fantasy offers a prepatched steam version.

As for R7 issues, I can see existing games being problematic (see above), and also the banned game in question: Magical Girl Konoha. Based on promotional material alone I really don't see the reason for banning one and not the other. However, in the linked thread a possible explanation is included content that is not apparent in the promotional material.

It's apparent that any loli type character given the minimal amount of features to appear post pubescence is just disingenuous. A rule that needs to be judged on a case by case basis doesn't seem worth allowing that content in the first place.

Then you didn't really look into anything. You also did not read the rules, or if you did, you did not understand them.
So IF we go off just what you are using, the preview pics, for the game you linked

1) 2D which as the rules state : 2D and 'unrealistic' depictions are generally looked upon more favorably.
2) While both are 2D, in the above linked, signs of puberty are there, while in the other, there are other characters in the game shown in preview pics on other sites that are clearly prepubescent.

I can't and don't speak for or on behalf of the staff and mods, this is my own opinion.

The reason for not washing their hands completely is because the rule works, period. If it didn't the site would have been closed years ago like so many others that didn't have AND enforce a similar rule.

So far the ONLY people who have a problem with the rule are the one fixated on that content.

Why should the rule be removed and the content allowed removed all because of a handful of so called adults who throw a tantrum every time they don't get their own way?

Claiming that is rather naive, or ignorant or both. That statement completely ignores the FACT that different people have different tastes. i dont know why steam allowed magical girl konoha since steam are usually strict on underage and there are complaints about a girl's age in the reviews. but i havent played the game and i dont know if this type of young looking anime/cartoonish characters are often accused of being undeveloped kids on steam because some users arent used to this type of look.

but this could be a mistake that slipped through steam's review and then it could be banned soon

It doesn't matters what I, you, or in fact anyone, including moderators and staff members, would categorize it, because the rule 1.7 is not about the size of the boobs. You had it fully quoted above, with a small bit of emphasis on the meaningful words, yet you totally missed that it's about being or not being pubescent, and therefore about having, or totally lacking, boobs.

Also the rules are not up for discussion. They are there and are not getting removed. This is a PRIVATE forum, by joining and using the forum members agree to accept and abide by those rules. If some people don't like the rules, they can suck it up or they can go somewhere else.

You are right, underage is the one thing they are usually very strict on so it is strange they allowed it. And you are right many of the users aren't used to that type of look so do get it wrong sometimes but in this case that first review you posted was 100% right. There is a purple haired character that does look 6. There were 2 screens of her in the previews on one site.
