Unity - Chains of Bondage [Beta v0.1.4] [Dark Tether Games]

Very promising.
It is not worth 5 stars (yet) but the 2 guy voting 1 star before me should be ashamed, it deserves at least a decent note so people will want to try it.
I will wait a few release to have more content but I'll definitively look at how it evolves

Review of 2025-08-07 Free Build

The premise: a third person shooter game, post apoc, shoot zombies, capture slaves, manage base, manage resources. Sounds cool.

In practice:
-9 out of every 10 features are labeled as "DLC", so there's hardly anything to actually do in the game.
-Map is big and empty. No vehicle. No map screen, no compass, so easy to forget where the base is because everything looks the same.
-Gunplay is meh. No recoil. There's only one enemy type, it's too stupid and weak to be a threat, even in a pack of 30 of them.
-Animations are lousy. The main character's run animation is kinda sexy, but that's literally the only thing I can praise. She flails the assault rifle around really silly when you run with it out. Of the one bondage thing to try, the animation was limp. The enemy zombie punch looked silly.
-Graphics: I can compliment the reflective latex, the female models, and creating a post apocalyptic desert town (made of mostly gas stations and warehouses). Its hard to know how much work the dev put into any of this in an era of purchasable assets though.
-This build doesn't even have saving the game yet.

Not good porn. Not a good shooter. Base management is almost non-existent. This seems like it was shared with the public too early in development, but it's hard to say if the work will be done to finish it. I could certainly rate it higher if it had more of....anything.

In general, the free version is terrible... I don't know what will be in the DLC, but after running around the empty map, I realized that it would be better if I didn't leave the base at all.

There's nothing to catch except the undead. I completed the Tutorial and... that's it! No saves, no interaction. From the fun, you put your slave in the choke and hit her on the spine until you conjure 100 hits. I thought it would be below the back, but when I saw the animation of hits on the back, I laughed out loud. No map, no transport, and yet there is a shooter here... in general, I don't know what the author of the game is trying to achieve, but there is simply nothing to do in his game. You just run around the map, shoot at dummies until your weapon goes haywire (yes, it does go haywire and stops shooting or reloading) and then you hit your slave on the back... that's the whole party. 3GB of pure graphics, which aren't even there, although there's no point in picking on them. It's not Skyrim or anything.
