Everything is already locked behind DLC in the fucking demo? I didn't have high hopes for this one with the previous game being a tedious buggy mess with a decent premise. The developer's patreon during the development of the previous game was 1% game updates and 99% look at me wearing fetish gear.
It's more a short tutorial currently. But a real turnoff is if you access the phone or the building terminal you see then "dlc" and "locked". Meanwhile patreon page doesn't give much information as well and looks more like a personal onlyfans account. I wonder then if this ever is going be a game or is it bait to lure people to patreon, only that they pay for some personal pictures instead.

Tutorial seems broken? Followed the steps to rescue first slave went to the gas station looking area directly visible outside my base, killed the zombies there, rescued the girl there and no updates from there.

They did say that a future build plans to have raiders that can capture you, so there's that to look forward to.
The art looks promising but the toy zombie killed me because controlling the gun was so clunky. Not gonna play this game anymore.

so i can buid 2 houses, get 2 slaves, and run around and shoot zombies that get stuck over a resource crate? It's so bear-bones and already takes up so much space... Imagine 7 Days 2 Die but barebones. You can only play as woman in fetish gear, collect a pistol, a rifle and there's only one type of zombies. It also literally uses the same assets.
Also you can find a bound woman in a POI, click on her to warp her to your base where you can strap her into a pillory and then spam left click to make a barebones whip animation.
Your character has two voicelines total.
The map is a barren, wide wasteland, and u do not have a vehicle. You need to run for minutes doing absolutely nothing. The only other NPC is the zombie of which there is only one type. It's essentially harmless.

I wanted to ask, you mention rival factions. Are the rival factions able to force you to submit to them? And if so, is that game over, or do we get to explore that?
I'm not saying to remove what you've got now, I'm just wondering if the stakes are going to be there

what a terrible game, everythign is locked behind paying, the things u can do are mediocre, the zombies have horrible and i truly mean horrible pathing, they just walk straight forward or against any wall and are just free kills, no thinking needed, if this is your way of promotimg your game, i would seriously reconcider opening up everything cos from what im seeing, even if u have all content, u still dont have much, as for now not even worth giving a try.
i got max lvl (10) in literally 5 minutes, did not found new slaves except for teh 1st 2 sofar
u as a free to play player have 1 training object u can use and only 1 slave can be on it, so its all just so mediocre
this really feels like a quick test run nothing more, not even to be called a game yet

Too much Light is not abandoned. just yesterday i read an update from the developer's patreon that she is reworking several mechanics, animations and making some changes and fixes atm

I don't want to argue, but in my opinion the author of the game is more interested in money than the game. The game has been abandoned for a year or more, and the last thing I remember is how the author ran everywhere and asked to donate to another account because Patreon closed donations, and this game got caught in the distribution and he, poor and miserable, does not receive more money from hamsters. And the new update is a new attempt to milk hamsters, nothing more.

This is just a Demo, no one should be stressing yet until the dev says its finished. (At which point if everything is still locked behind 'DLC' then we can Riot) This is just the same as every other game, its no where near finished as we can all obviously tell and It's at least interesting enough for me to give it a chance.
Though it in no way shape or form deserves 16 GB of RAM looking the way it does.
