I hear the dev takes everything extremely personally and can't take even a light ribbing. They just make passive aggressive vague-posts whenever someone has even a slightly negative opinion of their game.
Nah, I'm chill, but if you guys have something to say, do it openly here, not in a cryptic way in other games thread, this is CoR thread, use it.
You have to understand that my key to interpretation is very simple:
plenty of other good reason to shit on CoR -> say them to the dev -> dev fix them -> no more reason to shit on CoR -> CoR improved
Don't tell me anything, what should I do?

1) It was a one line joke, I wasn't being "cryptic".
2) If you read that thread then you should know that I brought up CoR there cause I thought the same shitty thing was happening there that had happened to you where fans of an older game were attacking a newer one as a "clone" because they had similarities (turns out that dev actually was stealing code though). It would make no sense if I commented that here cause it was about what was happening to that other game.
3) The reasons for my "slightly negative" options on CoR (or more specifically the attitude of it's dev) I've either already brought up here before, such as your seeming obsession with how many comments you get on this thread over an actual vision for the game, or are long buried and wouldn't do anyone any good to dig them back up again.

All the video in-game are now converted in VP8, so less CPU usage
Older devices or smartphones can run CoR better
The exile nav is cleaner now, even if I'm still deciding about the black bg
Before vs After
Now the new events, 3 in total:
One story event
One Izanami Event
And the final event is for....
Isabel
The launcher is on the way, we'll see if it works as it should.
Where is Tsukiko? She ended up in the Beta in preparation for its release.
Maybe I should do a post explaining the new rewards.
We have a problem with Renpy and Android versions, the apks can't hold CoR anymore, that's why the compressed android versions will now be the new universal versions.
So, those who want to continue to use the "big builds", will have to use joyplay, for others it does not change much, download the new version and you're done.
If those who had the old android version should have problems, you know the procedure, backup the save, delete, install new build.
We thank all renpy for these wonderful struggles.
As for the next release, still story, you will not see lewd for the whole month, sorry, the story must continue.

Happens to me as well all the time. My guess is that english might not be your first language. Because it's definitively not mine and I noticed tht for some reason, especially during discussions I sometimes give off that impression unintentionally. No idea why, but it's happened to me a lot in the past.
In a lot of those cases those game threads tend to be half full of people complaining how the game is dead and the devs are scamming everyone and the other half are people who sunk too much into the game emotionally or monetarily to admit that. I think we can both safely say you wouldn't enjoy that sort of attention.

It's been a while since I last played this (0.15 I think). The last time I got through to getting set up in Exile and having the meeting with the girls in the meeting room and a couple of other things before I left off. I'm currently stuck in trying to get the meeting room event to trigger again on this new playthrough before I'm forced to jump into the code and the console to see what may be going wrong. No matter what time of day mc goes into the meeting room there's just a "back" option. All of the progression suggestions in the "girls" screen is to wait until after the meetup.
Some comments first though. The signals questing system worked pretty well for the first part, but there were a couple of gaps. One was needing to go back to Asmedia to collect the book in order to progress to the confrontation with Cleos. There was no hint in the signals that mc needed to do this. The other was there was no hint that mc had to go back and track down Estia for the alleyway confrontation with the two students. Meanwhile the quest event in signals opens about needing to get all 7 girls progressed when we have only met maybe 5 of them.
The nav system for getting into hidden city gets to be a bit annoying after the first couple of times. This is probably to trigger some events like the surveillance by the mystery woman and the auction, but there ought to be a better way when mc is traipsing back and forth to the repair shop.

Ok after jumping into the console and looking at the trigger for the meeting event, I see I'm still at sheilaEvent 4. It's the clue for her here that is misleading me. The "after the assault" thing is referring to an event that had happened for mc quite a while back and it would always be well before mc gets Exile up and running. I was thinking that there would be yet another assault to deal with before I could find her again. Maybe it should just be "Get all the other girls housed in Exile and then go look for her in the afternoon in the shopping district".
