Character models like Eternum/Being a DIK

Hi, I'm looking into developing a game idea using Ren'py with Blender Renders as my main source of art. I've got a lot of experience with Blender, so making my own characters isn't too big of an issue. But I noticed that most games tend to use very similarly styled "realistic" characters (usually looking like they're all based on the same base character body.)

I was wondering if there was a resource that these creators pull from for things like outfits, base body meshes, hair styles, etc. That would make developing the art-style and characters faster?

Any pointers or advice is appreciated!

Eternum is using Honey Select 2, which you can find here (Use the Better repack). Being a DIK uses DAZ Studio, with quite a bit of post processing.
