VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Childhood Friends [Ep. 2 v1.1] [Void Star]

Don't recommend, it is a very short visual novel with zero interactivity. The visuals are fine, but the story is poor with incel cardboard cuttout characters. It's not just that the story is cliche, paper thin, lacking texture, depth, nuance or varied characterisation... but also that this feel less motivated by the NTR fetish tag but more by some sort of resentment of women, who universally (mother, friend, girlfriend) choose 'chad' alpha dick over him. Embarrassing really.

3.5 for me.
The story hits hard, it's not NTR per se, until , but it hurts a lot, we all had that happen and it hurts.
It also helps (doesn't?) that the mother is a slut (not for having sex but by ), and the "best friend" is an asshole that like, wtf. Trash people.
The renders are beautiful, as always with Void.
Problem for me is the lack of sound effects (voices is asking for too much but would be chef's kiss) and the lack of content. It's too rushed for a NTR story, mostly the second part.

Excellent Game squandered.

Great NTR plot with beautiful character models in general and a fun and interesting setting for the game. The MC gets it quite hard from the get go and the rest of the cast are all hot and sexy but flirts in and out of MC's love life. The potential was here for this game to go on to be a masterpiece but alas it was like a 2hrs long game at max and such a brilliant start was wasted imo.

At least the 2 hours provided with some entertainment. Strong NTR fans should enjoy this and NTR haters should steer clear. If it was longer and more flushed out then it was an easy 5star but due to the lack of game-time I'm giving it 4stars .

The renders and CGs are good, but sadly the story and plot is missing the mark by a mile! Being rejected is normal, but turning into some obsession and keep trying over and over again to expect different outcome is ridiculous. Story does not explore the kinks that people are looking to see, rather it misses the target badly and actually becomes a normal story on rejection rather than on kink aspect. For that I have to say the game is poor quality as the MC does not have any impact in the story, plus the story becomes very bland and not interesting to see how it could end.

Rather short, but somewhat nice NTR game. Though maybe it is not "totally NTR". Well, a kid fell in love with someone and that someone "friendzoned" him. Clearly saying that she doesn't want to have any romantic or sexual relation with him. Several times actually. Over several years. Plus later she turned out to be a slut... is this "NTR"?.. meh, in the presented game mood - maybe, but in reality - not so much. If so - are Margot Robbie or Gal Gadot "NTR'ing" me right now?? Those unfaithful bitches! I want to have sex with them and they are fucking some dudes! That's NTR, ffs!

That's about the "Main LI". As about the other girl - well, you can call it NTR now. But she wasn't that interesting for me and was just some kind of blunt "supporting character".

tldr: 20 min of nice fap time (if you like NTR) or nothing to look at (if you don't). Not much of a game, but a shot NTR'ish story.

I like this dev's other games but this one missed the mark for me. In addition to being pretty far on the depressing/humiliating side of the NTR spectrum, it also (as title implies) starts in pre-adolescence. Those 2 things are a bad combination imho. While the story swiftly moves to college years, it really takes the fun out of NTR for me when the cuck/MC has essentially childhood trauma. If I was reading a YA novel I might find it interesting, but I'm trying to get off and it's just depressing.

The NTR is non-existent in the first part of the story. It's just a dude that's been turned down and is obsessing with someone. Afterwards, he just gets a new girlfriend and straight-up asks her to fuck other people. There is no build-up, no emotions. It's barely a story at all. I don't get how people rate this so high, have they not played any other NTR game before this one?

Not Bad ... A story of a misserable little boy ... which I dont like it ... I am suprise there are people wraped up in problems thay cant slove .... and continue to cary in side thier little secrets .. This kind of people dont enjoy life ... even they have millions..$$$$ . Render quality is pretty decent. Animations are a bit in the middle of the pack, not the best, not the worst.

Ended up buying/supporting this and no regrets. Great art, well written, hot if you are into NTR. It is more on the somewhat more depressing / humiliated side of it then the hotwife side. It is a VN (no choices, it just plays out, sadly) and it is rather short at the moment. Also seems to get to the hot-action, builds it up, delivers a great build-up and scene, but then fast-forwards instead of continuing to develop what it just worked up. Which is great from one perspective (keeps moving to new fun content) but also leaves you feeling a little sad, like there's constantly a missing piece you would've liked to see more of

A pretty good NTR / cheating game! I played through the first version when it was released and thought it was good NTR but rushed and short; that's not necessarily a bad thing, all visual novels dont need to be 5 hours long, but it is something to keep in mind.

*GOOD*

- NTR theme: a good NTR / corruption / cheating theme here that is nothing revolutionary but pretty solid.
- Nice Renders: pretty renders and nice animations spice it up
- Moms Model: The mom model looked unique and I liked that.

*BAD*

- Too short: Not really taking a star off for this but it is pretty short and that doesn't help with the NTR theme, I prefer a slow burn corruption.

All in all if you like NTR, corruption or cheating I would say check this out, otherwise might be a let down for other people (people either love or hate NTR).

I don't think I would've normally played this game, but the reviews got me curious. There are some mixed opinions, with an average rating of 3,5 but also many reviews that praised the game. So I had to see for myself.

And I have to say, I was not disappointed! This was one of those rare games that really surprised me in a positive way! The story, the renders and (at times) the animations are splendid, but this game was also very refreshing in three other ways:

1. Great use of darkness and lighting:
What I really liked about the visuals (apart from the beautiful and original characters) was the use of lights and shades. In most of these games the lighting feels really unnatural. No matter if a person is inside or outside, during the night or during the day, the image is always bright and the colors are always clear. There is no difference between sunlight and artificial light. Like they're shooting a cheap porn movie.

In this game on the other hand, some scenes take place inside a dark room, where it's actually dark. You can still see what's happening, but not quite as clear. And if someone is standing in a shady corner, that person is actually more difficult to see and in clear contrast with someone who's standing in the light.

2. Your life is not one big success story:
Apparently there's a basic rule in porn games that prescribes the MC has to be some kind of irresistible porn star with a huge dick who gets all the girls. No matter how much of a dork you are, in the end all the girls will fall madly in love with you... (seriously, that describes 95, if not 99 % of the games here, right?)

Well, this game is different, and that felt remarkably refreshing! Your childhood crush does NOT fall in love with you, and your mom does NOT want to fuck you. It's not always pretty, but neither is the real life.

3. The camera doesn't always focus on the action:
At certain moments, this game felt more like an erotic art house movie than a porn movie. For example, when two people are fucking you don't just see a vulgar close-up of a pussy and a dick, but you see a shot of their legs and an animation of the table moving back and forth. And that's just one example.

I really like this kind of 'teasing'. Not showing everything and leaving some things up to the imagination of the player. More devs should try it since it's a pleasant change from the standard sex scenes in most games.

Thus in conclusion:
Yes, your mom is a slut. That's kinda the point of the story. And no, there are no choices in this game, which technically doesn't make it a 'game'.

So if you think that's a problem this one's probably not for you.

But otherwise I would definitely recommend this game. The dev has implemented some original aspects that make this different from the bunch of standard porn games on this website. One of the few quality NTR games that's actually worth playing!

Like others, I am very surprised by this game.
Nice plot, easy, different interesting character, everything you expect from an Adult game.

I really hope to see more content.

I was really surprised by the quality of this game. Despite being short and with a minimum number of renders it somehow comes out as being better than the other games of this creator. Not in the art department, where VS excels, but in all the rest (story, scenography, details). You will end up wanting more art and more story, because it's clear this was produced "on a budget". I still wonder why, considering it has better quality than his other games.

Spectacular NTR story. Really well done, excellent renders.

The cheating Mom was a nice touch.

I know there are people who don't like NTR, but if you do, this is a really, really good VN.

They could extend and expand this story but it would be fine if it stayed this length (1.0, December 27 2019)

Pro's: Nice visuals.

Cons: Not NTR it can't even be labelled as NTR as it doesn't exist. The mother sleeping with the neighbour or Angel doesn't make it NTR. Victoria blowing Angel is not NTR either, she made it clear she wouldn't date Eric, it is just jealousy that he has been friend zoned, he ruined his own friendship with Angel.
It was short there was no build up or anything. They just started fucking sort of not great storyline.

I love this story concept and the graphics and angles are thoughtful. I'd only have preferred the story to have been even a little longer to go a layer deeper into the MC's friendships, mixed signals, and various betrayals. Could see this being a nice setup for a much longer piece set in MC's future with similar relationships and flashbacks to this story.

Predictable and very thin. Lots of unused threads and you don't even get to indulge in the NTR, which is the center of it all. Perhaps just more text alone could have improved it, as it feels like it's the shell of a project.

The set ups are just too obvious to have them just complete as expected with very little fanfare or even detail.

Great visuals, with angle and point of view, but to little result. Which is why this is disappointing. It's obvious the developer knows his tools, there is just nothing in the pretty frame. Next time, consider why you want the story to be read. What they want to take from the experience. With no game play or choices, you have to have a strong plot.
