are they releasing the uncensor version or just the awesomeness of the redrawer?

Jast USA and Mangagamer - come to mind - in which they "de-censor" images or graphics for western releases.
But are illegal to be sold within Japan.
(Note: Jast USA is a USA owned company and Mangagamer is a Japanese company with an "offshore" division - that does not sell products within Japan.)

Also - "fan made" or unofficial patches can be found for some games an VN's.

But official products from Japan are required to have the "mosaic".
