I'm looking for translator from English to Chinese (simp) and Japanese for my game (mostly vanilla themes, nothing extreme). I do not have much experience in this area so I wanted to ask around on what is the process for this and also rates. I'm guessing the standard procedure nowadays is to put it through AI translation first, but then probably you still need a fluent speaker to proof read it? I feel also the contractor services like fiverr, etc, might be hard to find someone with experience in h games translations, etc.
Anyways, let me know if you have experience in this area and your rate for translating.
