I think he means like that crazy/fun look, could have been interesting, but there are already a lot of characters to build story upon, don't know how many more he can possibly include in story.
Also game is so good on so many levels.

Too early to tell, but Philly had a man-whore route in the last game. It only closed off one relationship, though it was a primary one.

You are comparing two very different games, it's like saying Van Wilder is the better movie than The Shawshank Redemption, because it has nude scenes while the other one doesn't.. Thirsty For My Guest is decent porn/erotic game with classic all beautiful girls with big boobs, and simple story, you can find at least 30 more games alike on this site, and you know it's fun, i mean i played bunch of games like that (for example last one been Sisterly Lust) and they are both cool games, that been said this game is a masterpiece, it's really a gem, i don't think you can even put them in the same category.

A good chunk of the script is also done and more heavy lifting on that in the coming weeks. What does this all mean? It means a launch mid next month!"
It is an estimate, so it might be off by a couple of days - which is always understandable, considering this guy's work is flawless.
