gundam00 put this file into the game folder, overwrite the screens.rpy with it and it will work

I tested the mod on the compressed version only and it worked, but now i tried it on the uncompressed version and i got the error you got

If you are using the uncompressed version (you are with this error), you need to extract the game files first.
1) Go to:
2) https://f95zone.to/threads/unren-ba...compiler-console-developer-menu-enabler.3083/
3) download the unren file
4) put the unren.bat in the same directory where the brokendreams.exe is, then run it
5) when the console window opens, just press 9 then enter
6) wait for the process to finish. You will get a message in the console when it is safe to close
7) follow the instructions on OP to install mod
8) Due to this being python, you may need to run the game exe once, close it then run it again for it to work properly (technical stuff: when changes are made, renpy has to recompile the game files. this can be slow or lead to weird crashes. After it compiles, then it should run fine)
9) profit?

angella download unren and put it into your City of Broken Dreamers folder then run it and pick option 9)
Then extract the mod again and overwrite when it asks
