This is a bit of a weird one but i was wondering if someone could point me towards something that feels like an school rpg, something like early dragon quest and final fantasy. Im thinking something that is very sterotypical like a female white mage or something.

Well, no shortage of RPGM games, an engine that's designed for making 16-bit-style JRPGs. Most H-games on the engine are trash though. Here are some exceptions.
