Good combat gameplay, great pixel art. Is buggy but its still in development so thats to be expected. Characters are interesting and unique, and the option of both protagonists is handled well. Hopefully work continues smoothly becasue i look forward to the completed game.

Let's use those funds to finally put an end to world hunger, because let's face it, that's probably more achievable than this game ever being finished.

    Concept is Good
    Game has potential
    but it's just that
    simply

Good game but not a good porn game. Has great graphics and the gameplay is fun. Not a lot of story, you can finish this game in about 10 hours. The porn scenes that the game does have are beautifully animated. I wouldn't recommend subscribing to their patreon, updates are painfully slow and not the patreon isnt worth buying just for the codes.

    Downright inexcusable scam.

There are developers who take years, yet end up making a functioning full game. Team Nimbus had, what, four or five years?
Yet they are still stuck at version 0.1?
While milking 4000 people off their money for the smallest of progress?

Inexcusable, despicable and deceitful scam of a game. Existing to siphon away people's finances while throwing them a bone of few concept arts or whatever.

The gamehad a good potential. Good range of characters with monster girls/men. Where you or them would get fucked, bred.
While managing your farm and doing fun combat.
Except all this is way too ambitious. One would've guessed though that a lot of the mechanics would be done.
    Nope.
Barebones game. I pity anyone who still supports these developers. There's so many others who deserve support more than these scammers.

The current state of this game is downright tragic (and shameful), but I guess we all should have seen it coming considering the game's heritage.

It started out very promising, the art and animations were stunning to me. I stopped supporting their Patreon a few years ago when they stopped focusing on the sexual content and every update was just more battle animations/non-sexual gameplay. They seemed to have forgotten the main draw of the game; it's an adult game containing fetish-focused sexual content. Non-sex related gameplay is all fine and dandy, but it's not why most people were playing. If there was no more sex to be added, there was nothing drawing me to it.

Fast forward to just recently when I decided to see how they game had come along since I'd last tried it. Lo and behold, *almost nothing had changed*. There was barely any more sexual content (maybe a couple of animations? A few seemed unfamiliar, but I recognized most of it) and even the gameplay that they'd been so focused on barely seemed to have progressed.

Such wasted potential. It presented itself as a breeding game, yet gave very little attention to the breeding aspect. A fetish game that ignores its own fetish is doomed to failure, and I'm frankly shocked that they're still pulling in money at this point. Rest in peace, Breeding Season. Your death appears to have been in vain :(

4 or 5 years on now, it's still nowhere as interesting or detailed as Breeding Season's beta. Just go view the better versions of the animated scenes on Rule34, they're not in the game's gallery anymore.

The art is good, but if you're only playing it for the art it's not exactly a game at that point. Look up the art online, or RIP it and unlock the gallery. Once you've unlocked all the art there is absolutely zero content, and you can tell as much even before getting to that point.

a milking machine with dead content and devs who don't even care for years. This is pretty much abandoned. I had high hopes when this game came out. I love sprite work and farming sim games with a breeding system that let's you make hybrids. However the sex part is unfinished for years, well can't even say they did anything with it at all. The little stuff that is in it isn't done for maybe 5 years now? Stuff that shouldn't take more than a view months. Instead they made everything else and not even that much more either. The devs only care about the 3-4 sheep who still pay for some reason and don't realise that new content is non existent for years now.

Breeding Season didn't die for this.
The game is a buggy mess since its first installment, boring as hell and just tedious. Only thing thats nearly worth it is the art, but man, just go see it in rule 34 or some other place because this game doesn't deserve any of your time nor attention.
The most maddening thing here is that i was a breeding season enjoyer back in the day, following every update like a hound dog until the bad news dropped and everything dissapear into nothingness. The excuse for its demise is that "It was never going to be finished", this was said from a dev, dont know who it was but if my memory is correct it was H-Purple.
Now we only have a mess of a game slowly lowering into the same common trench Breading Season was tossed into.
    Cheers.

Edit: Updated review to 1/5. Game has no future. The only redeeming factor it had were the HD scenes you probably saw on rule34. Apparently those scenes will no longer be made in favor of the low pixel scenes I spoke about below. Might update review if they change it but until then, don't bother investing time or hope into this project.

    ------------
3/5 I think is a fair score everything considered. I like helping out new games that have potential by rating them high but this game doesn't need that. It has a lot of potential but by the looks of it it has been in development for too long and what little content there is does not justify how long it took them to get to this point.

Gameplay wise it isn't really a farming or breeding game. It felt more like a dungeon crawler game, and while the time spent in this game was enjoyable, that's because I actually enjoyed the combat itself for the most part. But that's not what you'd expect or really want of this type of game.

Farming is clunky, tedious, and not really satisfying. Breeding doesn't feel satisfying because the sex scenes are lacking. The only good scenes are between the farmer and the humanoid cattle of which there are only a total of 10 or so. The humanoid on humanoid cattle scenes are very low pixel and disappointing to see.

So 3/5 because this game really does have potential and there's some really detailed scenes there but the slow development combined with the contradictory gameplay loop takes away from what you'd expect the game to be.

Good Art. Shit Game. Long live Breeding Season. Tried so hard to give this game the benefit of the doubt because like I said, I love the art. Game has been buggy consistently, even in the so called "stable" builds. As annoying as that is I could forgive it if there was more art and animations being uploaded consistently. However the last several updates all seem to be slight fixes and rehashing old mechanics to make them slightly different for no real benefit.

This game will never get finished. It's been in development for years and was made at the expense of another game, but has made little progress. There has been little increase in the amount of h-scenes since the last time I checked a year ago, and that is pretty much business as usual for this game. If you know anything about the history of this game and its predecessor you'll know it's a Patreon milking scheme. STAY AWAY

Lower quality compared to previous projects, significant downgrade from previous projects, severely lacking of options and customization, significant downgrade and lack of monsters and creatures for gameplay, the farming mechanic is a time soaker and slows gameplay down even more than it should. Getting rid of the farming mechanic would improve the game and adding far far more customization, creatures, creature options, game options, player character options, all in priority over bland unrelatable NPC characters would significantly improve the game. For now however, the game as it stands is a BORING waste of time.

I'm honestly amazed that this game is still around and kicking. Almost nothing is new and hardly worth playing IMO. The game is pretty boring, even with the lewds. None of the characters are interesting and the art style is relatively bland. All in all would not, well I could not recommend this game to anyone.

Edit, also please don't support this dev or this project truly. This guy might as well be the next YandereDev with the length it's been worked on and lackluster progress.

The Game hasn't had any meaningful updates in years now, the dev is just taking the patreon money and providing "bug fixes" and "balance changes" each month.

Please, people, for the love of god, stop giving this scammer money.

With the horribly slow updates and abysmal additional contents to each update, this game re-playability is basically none. While the art is good, and the story somewhat decent it just ends on the first real mission.

I don't get it why people give their money to support this game
S-Purple is a good artist but not a good game maker
It will be better if he copy breeding season than make this game
Except good graphic this game has nothing

    Version: v0.1.2.4g

This game does not know what it wants to be, so many mechanics, both core and additional just feel like they were throw around with no care in the world how they should interact with each other. Genuinely disappointing, considering very early in this game development it had show that it could be a great and a fun game. Now its nothing.

Go look around for other good games, you wont find that here.

0.1.2.4d: I'm not sure if others make the same distinctions I do, but Cloud Meadow is shaping up to be more of a game-with-porn than porn-game. As a hybrid dating sim, farming sim, and dungeon crawler it's a lot like the modern Harvest Moon games except with monster breeding too. And porn. It seems to have a stronger focus on dungeon crawling than most games in this genre, but that may be a result of how it's still -- somehow -- relatively early in development. I'm looking forward to what it may become, but considering the alarmingly slow dev cycle I probably won't check the project out for another five years. It's also a coin-flip whether the project will realize its potential, be in-development for 7 more years before having "v1.0" slapped on a half-finished product and being shoved out the door, or be abandoned entirely. It's up to you to decide which of these outcomes corresponds to the coin landing on it's side.

Visuals/Lewds/Gallery: The art is quite good. The female protagonist is particularly sexy (which is always a plus), though very busty characters feel a bit over represented. Lewds exist as animated scenes between the protagonists and town NPCs or monsters, and sprite sex between monsters or between protagonists and Frontier NPCs. They are all well done and I like how you can change the monsters' coloration while viewing the gallery. The gallery is available straight from the main menu and unlocking a scene with any protagonist will unlock it for both protagonists. You can choose which pairings (m/m, f/f, m/f) you want to see in the settings, so that's nice too.

Dating Sim: You can adventure and chat with party NPCs to raise their affection, eventually locking dates and the corresponding animations. Eventually. So far a single date for one NPC has been implemented, though there is a second you can still chat with.

Farming Sim: The farming aspect is solid, though unfortunately you need to clear part of the dungeon in order to actually unlock your farm. Theoretically you'd be specifically training monsters to work on your farm while trying to match their "fertilizer" type to the season, eventually upgrading to all-season monsters and finally dragons. Except since there isn't much in the game we have access to all of it and dragons are allowed to break the flow/economy from week 1. Regarding monster breeding: there's no back-crossing but also no genealogy data, so breeding can be a bit tedious. Cooking is a nice way to use all the crops you're growing, but unfortunately it's been poorly implemented so using high quality ingredients leaves you with a failed product.

Dungeon Crawling: Combat is solid, with each monster and character having a unique skill set and some even having their own mechanics. The blue guy is totally busted though. Again, theoretically you're supposed to be introduced to meet him a bit later in the game, but since we have access to everything at the stage he can start stomping all over combat from day 1. I suspect there's supposed to be some metagaming between bringing NPCs (who gain levels and stats through battle) and monsters (who gain stats through their daily feedings, but have higher stat ceilings) but it isn't really balanced so you'll probaly just use a full NPC team because there isn't much to do in the days it'll take to breed and train appropriate monsters.

In Development: Very. All of the systems seem to be in place... but only one place. The game has been in development for a while so you'd expect them to have more to show for it, but whatever, maybe they were focusing on systems before content. I don't really expect the pace of development to pick up anytime soon. As I mentioned up top, Cloud Meadow has solid potential so you can have a bit of fun with it now then maybe again in five years.
