The Nimbus team don't seem to know what kind of game they're going for. The jump from Breeding Season to this is quite jarring. This game has no soul to it, it's just a mish mash of different things and doesn't put its focus on anything in particular meaning none of it turns out well. The combat isn't fun, nor should it be a focus for a game that obviously had the original intention of being a farming/breeding game. But the farming/breeding isn't fun either. This game has been out since 2016 and has no right to be sitting so far behind in comparison to other games in similar categories without any real soul to it.

If you want a fix like Breeding Season check out the game Breeding Farm by Team Bieno instead. It's a much better spiritual successor to Breeding Season and looks like it will actually go somewhere.

Only positive I'll really mention about this game is the art is nice.

simply did not enjoy it. did not really draw me in and found my self bored rather quickly. The game is playable, but really if you want to do farming sim go play stardew valley, and if you really need porn there are better porn games out there

Do you remember when this "product" came to be because a scam"artist" betrayed and stole the idea and concept from a different dev who worked on a similar project that was good and still had potential, while it got actual updates that improved the game bit by bit?

Do you realize that this is still a scam since there is no real update since 2015/16 because this is a scam and there is no other dev with a similar project whos ideas can be stolen?

For the love of anything, stop saying that Breeding Season was "the father" or "the devs split up". This is wrong and it is not how it happened. A promising IP got murdered through betrayal.

Why would you add fucking dungeons in a pornofarm game? I do not understand. The predecessor of this game was very good and now we got this piece of shit. Why? Just why did you spoil great game? You had simple but very popular idea and then you decided to make another stardrewvallew clon with tits&dicks.

Its not finished, but its got a good core game with sex scenes as a large side, instead of Sex being the main focus, and the gameplay being bad. Cloud Meadow is a game about work. Its got a large variety of other parts, some bigger than others, but the biggest part of this Game is that you run a farm. As such, you are a farmer and must tend to your crops. The second thing you have below this is monster breeding. You the player selectively breed monsters to have traits and stats to help you run the farm and do tasks. More farming makes more wealth, in money and otherwise. More wealth means easier access to breeding your monsters. Better monsters makes farming easier. You most likely wont have these monsters forever, as they have to "graduate" out of your farm, but you can keep their children as placeholders, or buy newer monsters with usually less traits. Cloud Meadow is a lot of work in play, but its a very fun concept that is almost fleshed out, and it has some absolutely spectacular sex scenes to top it off.

The art style is great though the game itself needs A LOT of improvement in the code or whatever keeps it working cause I have never played a game with that many crashes happening in one play through (which is order to fix you are forced to go to their discord, give them a bunch of files and your save and HOPE its fixed). Though the game tries too hard to be something that it isn't with the farming system which is a waste of time. Not worth it unless you really like the artstyle.

the art and sound is pretty nice. the dungeon sucks. the farming sucks. the breeding is alright, but after you see one of each species then there's really no point to continue. there's lot of grinding. the game is still somehow incomplete in all sections: farming, dungeon, breeding, etc so while you're trying to progress, you'll suddenly hit a brick wall.

this game is 5 years into development with a huge team and earns $19k/month, yet is still in BETA. there are games that have finished in less than 5 years with less funding and less staff, and are far better.

For the first time since i started following this game, i am surprised. I don't know if the dev finally started listening to people or if they're done with all the current bugs and glitches but somehow the game now has it shit together...............in a way. The remaining monster sprites have been added and some new dungeons are available. I am cautiously surprised. 3 stars now, 5 if see if it continues this good streak.

I'm not so sure if this is even a 'game' considering there is more talking than anything.
The entire premise of building a game is limiting the talking of the npcs... That has ruined games in the past and this 'game' is a prime example of ENTIRELY TOO MUCH TALKING! It instantly bores me, I wouldn't recommend 'Cloud Meadow' to anyone.

The graphics aren't great, the game feels incredibly grindy, there just isn't much in the way of fun any more. It just feels like so many lost opportunities and wasted chances. I'm thankful I wasn't one of the original breeding season supporters or I'd feel so ripped off.

There is a lot of reviews about animation, gameplay and all but i want to just say: This is not a porn game.

Before say something, i will give a little summary about "breeding of seaon"

Breeding of season was the "father" of this game, a game where you can see monster how they f*ck each others.
The game was a master piece because they knew what we want, we want PORN, what a suprise right? . The development of the game was in the right direction. At first, it was a simple gameplay with a few monsters, with the time, they added more monsters because what is better than one good thing? exactly, two good things.
Basically, the updates was in the line of pleasing more fetishs, you know, trying to add something new like for example, more human like monsters or more monster like monsters (that sound weird) or younger versions of them... etc There was some updates about adding npc or some gameplay features but its just a small side, a support for the main thing, the porn.

Ok there is more but i think this is enought to you understand that game was focused on porn and we loved that.
but why is this related to Cloud Meadow? Its related because Cloud Meadow is NOT A PORN GAME.
A lot of people have talked about this game being a scam because how slow the updates are coming and of course, they are, like... i think they had a announced in their patreon of relasing date, something like 2018 or 2019... so yeah, they are milking money... Anyways, that is not just why this game is a scam but its also the fact they are baiting people with the porn when they actually dont even care about it, i mean, i really feel like they dont want to make a porn game, which its ok but not if they bait people with that.
Why i think this? just check their patron and compare it with any other patreon from a porn game, most of the stuff they post there is not related to porn, its like buy a sport magazine and most of the stuff is about food and drinks. Also, yes, i know its a game and its good if they have more things than just porn, it even help to make the experience better but isnt it weird when 90% of the post are not porn related in a PORN GAME?
Another one is the feature of SFW mode in the game, if they add that, it means they think someone want to play this game without porn, which it means they are adding things not related to porn(i think im using too much this word) enought things to make it appeal for play it in SFW.
And why not, here is another one more, remember i said breeding of seasons have monsters x monster and they where adding more fetishs with the time? well, for some reason, Cloud Meadown said "fuck it" and just ignored the best part of that game, because that was what made the game so special, there is a lot of good game but almost none with monster x monster (mxm from now on) and what they did? they focused in monster x human wow nice...

They gave some excuses like younger version are not legal in patreon and i kind of understand they dont want to play with fire but lets be honest, there are ways to do it, like the monster is just smaller or magic. I said younger fetish but i bet they used that excuse for others stuffs.
They also gave a excuse for no making mxm which it was something in the line of "there are a lot of monsters and we cant make an animation for every one" Again, it makes some sense because the animation is 10/10 and hard to do but you really cant pay some artist and at least put one or two pics????? not??? too expensive??? like, you just ignored the best part of the other game, i dont even feels like i want another human x monster, there is even others game for that, a lot.

No sure if i was clear but my point is this game dont even want to be porn, they are pretty much baiting coomers and using the fame of breeding season. And i dont really like to say "that devs are scam" but they really are playing with people, probrably they are going pretty vanilla (for what they were expected) because monsterxmonster are a niche fetish and maybe harder to sell in some webs, even making it sfw help to sell it in more webs.

After almost 5 years, the game looks like its getting some base, it has a dungeon, farm, npc, and a few things but, 5 years, its not worth, try it if you didnt but i warn you, dont get your hopes up for the game and check out the cheat gallery because the game is not really that fun, its meh, after 5 years... probrably that is one of the reasons they dont go full sfw, so they play in a small league, people dont expect or care for quality in gameplay in porn game, they want porn which they dont give btw.

lets say it again. ALMOST 5 YEARS. Now i understand why breeding season team got splited.

Being in development for over five years and having a good start in the form of "Breeding Season" is very depressing. In principle, there is no kitten. Constant alterations of those places that do not require it anyway. As a result, things get worse and worse with each patch. The only plus is the art style. He's on top, but not in "H" scenes. In general, I do not advise paying attention to this "game" for the next ten years.

This game is the definition of a facade, the striking amazing pixel art, the sex scenes (if they're even gonna add them anymore), and.. that's actually pretty much about it.

But dear god this game is an indescribable type of mess. Patrons, please spend your money to something else meaningful, because this isn't it.
I don't know if the devs are trying any more, putting out content none of us wanted, releasing bugfixes only to be more bugs created. The only 'farm' focused content is almost nonexistent, except they've just focused on 'dungeons' or whatever. Yeah.. no.

The only thing I can say that's good about this game is the amazing artstyle, and the ever so little content of the porn.
I loved this game, I wish it turned out much better. We'll see in the future.


tl;dr - Worth a try, but don't get your hopes up on future updates.

Ah yes, Cloud Meadow. The prettiest, most beautiful pixel art-styled trash heap on top of a dumpster pile to ever exist. Playing this 'game' is like pulling out your toenails with tweezers and burning your earlobes with a hot kebab poker. The people who actually supported this for the past 5 years probably feel 3 times as bad.

What is there to say about this game that hasn't already been said? The gameplay is trash, the experience is trash. The devs are constantly bugfixing only to create more bugs, more content is added that nobody wants or asks for, and everything goes to hell with every update. The only redeeming feature of this monument of crap is the art and maybe the music, but everything else is such a spectacular failure that it's pointless.

Breeding season, while not nearly of the same polished appearance and ambition as this game, was at least straightforward and easy to enjoy, The premise was simple; buy monsters, fuck em, give birth, raise em and sell em to the highest bidder and pay off your debts. Along the way, meet new characters and play some side quests to get fked some more. Easy, direct and it puts its focus on the one thing that everybody REALLY wants; porn.

So thank you S-Purple, for giving up on a workable game and instead decide to create this pile of garbage with a single red rose growing out of it, and stealing everybody's money for 5 years while giving back this sad excuse for a game in return. It's a pity you're so good at pixel art because you clearly suck at everything else.

A mess even without considering the drama.

Art's amazing.

Writing is good enough. Scenario's been done, voice is stronk III and fluency is fine. There are occasions where Too Many Cooks seem to strain consistency, but whatever; I'm here for tits.

There isn't enough porn in this porn game. What is present shows potential, but I swear for every boob added ten bugs get added along with.

Which blends into the meat of my review and the reason I shitcanned the rating; the gameplay is soul-destroying. The game can't pick which 'inspiration' it wants to rip off long enough to get a coherent element in place, and when it tries there're bugs, more bugs, new bugs, and old bugs. The bugs aren't even consistent with themselves or each other, which makes any hope of reporting them for reliable fixing a pipedream. I've downloaded the game several times to check its progress over years and versions, and every time I get crashes in random places that can't be reproduced.

Full disclosure: yes I backed the other, no I don't care about the drama, and no I don't back this one. Five years on and it's gotten to the point where I won't even waste the time and bandwidth fishing for a copy that fell off a ship.

TLDR: Yo-ho, no.

I would be pretty surprised if the devs even think about actually making the game close to what it could be.
First heard about this 4 years ago when breeding season was shut down barely any progress in the last 4 years makes me feel bad for the supporters of the developers honestly.

He killed a materpiece for make this awful game who aren't even close of the other game mastery.
its has been FIVE YEARS of development and what we get? Lets start with the fact that the game wants to deliver everything, but deliver nothing with mastery.
The game want be a farm game, but the farming system are boring, incomplete, awful. The game want be a exploration game, but the exploration are equally boring.
The game want to be a sex game, and have some good scenes with the MC x Monster or NPC, but all the scenes are just short videos in a looping until you decide to cum. Plus: the monster x monster sex are just awful pixeled sprites who arent even worth to watch beucase it are boring AF.

The worst part is the game is supposed to be breeding game, but the breeding system sucks!
The monster pallets aren't even fully implemented yet, it should have been one of their first priority. The monster will not have different features to make monsters physically unique, so, they are just the same, only with a color diference. So what is the point of the breeding? Get better stats? For what? The monsters will always have the same face, the same body, the same everything, only changing the color and stats.

All in all, that game have a insane budget, a big team with talent, but their leader just have the worst ideas possible. It could be a masterpiece, it could be a game who everyone will remember, but this game cannot even beat its predecessor.

After 5 (FIVE) years of development, 15 minutes of gameplay is enough to find out that the game still screams the same core problem it always suffered: style over substance.

Shwig is a goddamn amazing artist, I will never not admit that. Every single character he conceives is unique and charming in their own way. He could design and draw a quirky and sexy toilet plunger in a matter of minutes.
But, for the love of fuck, he needs to be LOCKED UP IN HIS DRAWING CAVE AND MERCILESSLY WHIPPED by someone with proper development leadership skills.
The game is an overdesigned mish-mash of concepts and ideas and the end result feels and plays like each of these concepts separately: half-baked.
It's trying to be an adventure/exploration game.
It's trying to be a dungeon crawler/RPG.
It's trying to be a pseudo-dating system.
It's trying to be a farming/economy management game.
But why? WHY does it try to be all these fucking things?? Its ancient predecessor, Breeding Season, that this game is "based" on, was a simple game at its core. Get monster girls to fuck monster boys, buy upgrades to unlock more different kinds of them. Why diverge so far from this scenario and instead of using NPC interaction as a bonus, chuck a FUCKLOAD of different ones into the game and make it seem like the game's about them, not you.

As I write this post, Shwig is probably designing yet another NPC to waste hours of effort on instead of just streamlining the game and getting its core mechanics polished.
(S)he has fat fucking tits, fatter fucking cock, and the fattest fucking balls, and (s)he's a mushroom-dragon furry-demon who says "ara ara" a lot.
And I WILL bust my nut to her.
And then close the game immediately after, because the rest of the gameplay feels like a tedious, grindy chore that doesn't really reward you with anything, because: you can get all the different monster types almost immediately, there is no content past the initial quests, there is absolutely no point to grind and upgrade your farm.

4 years of development and in that time i have seen games being funded going alpha, beta and fully released/ finished, this game is a milking factory a scam, and i have no idea how this developer has patreons still supporting , i guess some people don't mind being stolen every month..
The only good thing i have to say about this game is the sex animations, the rest is a buggy non working mess ...
Just thinking they abandoned breeding season to make this mess makes me sick
