This is not related to a game error. You are using an incompatible multi mod from Vincent. You probably overwrote the original files and need to redownload the whole game. Next time, check the version of the mod and the game. They must be the same.

Works fine because the mod has been updated to the latest version.
My post was published before the public release of the updated mod.

Based on the error message "Could not find substitution 'Act 1 - v1'", my guess is that your problem is using square brackets in the game folder name. So, if your game folder is labeled "College Kings [Act 1 - v1.1.2s] - windows and linux", try renaming it to "College Kings Act 1 - v1.1.2s - windows and linux" or something like that.

I really don't understand how the saves work. If I move the save folder to someplace else, the saves are still there when I open the game. I installed the Steam version and the saves from the version I downloaded here are there. I have searched my PC and can't find them in any other place. When I google it, I find nothing about the saves being saved anywhere else.

I think this path is sealed if you take Chloe to the homecoming dance, so you have to go all the way back and take another girl instead. Quoting myself from previously in this thread...

Very simply: Riley (handjob) and Aubrey (fingered) should always offer to help when you tell them about the list.
The condom can be taken from Ryan during the second free roam and the underwear can be found after Aubrey's scene.
Amber (bj) requires you to have told her to get clean.
Penelope (oral) requires you to have been on her path since CK1 and not have messed it up in CK2 (ie take her on the dinner date, don't let her get distracted by the other diners, next morning don't tell her you'd have preferred sex, save her from the conversation with Chris at the party).
Autumn (making out) requires you to not be dating Lauren, nor have broken up with her.
Lauren (sex) will, as you can't be, or have been, her BF, require you to have a loyal kct at the end of the party. Buy her the right present.
