Alright, so Johnsonville’s about to get shook with Clarence doing his door-to-door hustle like a charming salesman on caffeine, Terry dropping weather updates with actual flair (finally, no more “cloudy with a chance of meh”), and Dana trying to survive senior year without turning into a walking disaster - got it :D

OK since it's been out for a little time now I would love to hear what you thought of the scenes? I'm primarily a writer so were they overwritten with text? Not enough images? Right now audio and animations are not a priority until I get the foundations down. How did the passage of time feel?

I liked it. The characters were interesting and the TV reporter's scenes were enjoyable. The amount of images were about right. I didn't take too much notice of the daughter's story arc, but I like where the mother and father storylines are going. Be careful not to go too fast with the sex scenes - you can stretch out the story with more teasing, groping, seduction etc. I would be much more hooked on a story that was about the wife being slowly corrupted into advancing her reporter career at any cost and then the father being slowly seduced by his clientele.

Great minds think alike.
The daughters story arc hasn't found its footing but it started slow for a reason.
There absolutely will be more of a focus on the teasing and seduction but the characters won't just be statistics as well. We all make mistakes we regret. ;)

well, judging by the preview images, i supposed the male protagonist has the lion's share of the content?

Little bit of an odd one here, found it hard to get a read on it. The writing's very solid, the images were fine (a couple minor continuity errors - hard to avoid with AI - but nothing too immersion-breaking) but the thing that threw me off was the the game doesn't feel like it's made up its mind whether the Storms are the corruptors moving into this unsuspecting town, or whether they're the ones going to get corrupted. Terry certainly seems like an intentional corruptor at the beginning but then her on-the-street interviews (and the introduction of the businessman) veered into a "she'll be corrupted" angle. Likewise, Clarence's first day scoping out the neighborhood presents him very much as the predator, only for things to veer sharply in a "he'll be the one getting corrupted" angle once he actually has a sales pitch meeting and spends a big part of it internally monologuing about "maintaining professionalism". Dana's story hasn't really gone much of anywhere yet but like her parents she's spent the beginning seeming very smart and in control (she's set up as too advanced for all these classes) and sitting in the back of class with a "knowing smile" but I (at this point) expect that to veer towards her being corrupted.

I think the foundations here are solid enough that either the corruptor or corrupted narratives could be done successfully (or even the rarer but IMO most satisfying, corrupted-becomes-corruptor narrative) but it just felt like at this point, the game still needs to pick a lane.

Laying my own cards on the table, I think stories about intentional, deliberate corruptors are rarer around here (and for me, often more enjoyable) than stories about people getting corrupted by their job/neighbors/friends/world full of sexual deviants they live in, so I know which direction I'd personally rather see it go (I think there could be a really interesting story to be told about the daughter of a couple of hypersexual corruptors struggling to make up her mind about whether she wants to be like them or try to be normal/romantic), but I'll be keeping an eye on this one regardless.

I didn't put Corruption in the tags because I felt it wouldn't fit in with the rest of the games with that theme. But I think the term moral degradation would be more applicable. At least, if you think these actions to be immoral or amoral.

That's an interesting idea. Similar to what I have written for Dana but different in tenor.
