I don't know the creator personally, but I follow his work on YouTube. He does some great stuff.
It's a shame his plugin is only for Houdini (like many others I use Blender).
One feature that is particularly interesting is the fact that the plugin handles dual quaternion skinning (or at least offers an alternative solution) without having to rely on a specific modified version of the engine.
This is something I'll probably be adding to my workflow when I decide to tackle this problem, but it would have been easier to already have a Blender plugin that does it.
